I really am so happy that I bit the bullet and purchased this. So handy for quick clean ups around kids and animals, but also I find myself vacuuming after them more often because it's too easy to get out and put up without messing with cords, etc....You won't regret it!

I hate the fact that vacuums are so expensive now but with that quality is what you pay for. I couldn't believe the amount of stuff this vacuum was able to pick up the first time I used it, even on the lowest setting. It looked like I hadn't vacuumed in months!!!

When you lift up the lid to dump trash, you will need to pull it hard or the bottom wont open. And when you pull it hard, trash fall every where.

Love it almost went for V-12 but the salesperson was so helpful and I just stuck withV-8 and glad I did. Plus I’m old fashioned and like to speak with the pros before making a purchase not a computer screen.

Although Dyson products tend to be a little pricey, in my opinion the purchase is totally worth it. You end up paying for the quality which you can't go wrong with. Very lightweight and motor is surprisingly strong! Makes me wonder how long I've been living with a dirty carpet.

Was a little hesitant to spend so much on a cordless vacuum, however, the Dyson is now my all around favorite. Battery life is great, suction is tremendous, would highly recommend to anyone who has pets and needs to quickly clean up in between deep cleanings. I will buy Dyson from now on.

If I had reviewed this in the first two months I had the vacuum I would have given it five stars because it was an awesome vacuum. The second year I owned it it barely keeps its charge for 10 minutes. Very expensive vacuum and you only get one good year out of it

This is the second Dyson item I purchased for my wife and the second that's a total failure. We charged the item completely and when my wife began vacuuming the new apartment, it only lasted 14 minutes and didn't turn on anymore. The other item from Dyson I own is a hair dryer air wrap that keeps turning off and working whenever it pleases.

Does a good job on hardwoods. Seems a little awkward in handling.

This has been a great addition to our cleaning routine! It picks up pet hair effortlessly, is so easy to use and comes with lots of great attachments. Only gripe is how long the charge lasts, definitely at most 1 hour, also the small tube attachment doesn't suck up as hard as we would like for cleaning the car.

The best vacuum ever I have in my life, cleans almost everything and I love it when I can clean my car with it so easily and quick in my garage and don’t have to clean it car wash place anymore. Thank you.

My wife loves the suction power. We had $120 vacuum that we replace every 2y. This one seems to be a keeper coz you can order a new battery down its life.

Far more suction than I had anticipated. Does actually pick up dog hair pretty well. I have an Aussie that leaves hair everywhere and its a pretty good quick solution to that.

I have never owned a Dyson product before, but after countless recommendations from friends and family, I gave this a try. I as so glad I did!!!! Easy to use, great suction, and FAST charging of the cordless feature!!! LOVE IT!!!!

Not sure if we got a defective one but it is way louder than our other cordless dyson. Like obnoxious.

I love my new Dyson v8 vacuum! It is not heavy like other ones; I need this as I have difficulty as I am older. It cleans under my end tables and in small areas. It is very easy to empty after I vacuum, and after a recharge, it is ready to use again!

This has been the best portable vacuum I’ve owned so far. Charges quick, does carpet really well, easy to clean up the filter and is very light. My only negative comment is that the handle could be a bit more comfortable but other than that it’s been great.

I have two little kids and a busy home- this vacuum has been great! I love that I can just grab it all throughout the day and pick up messes, empty the little bin and hang it up for next time.

Product was packaged very well. Assembly was easy and directions were spot on. It had a good charge out of the box. Used it for a few minutes and wow! This stick vac is really powerful for being cordless, very impressed.
