The brush stays pretty clear of hair unlike other vacuums we have. This one is the best. The Black and Decker pet model died after a couple of uses. The brush stopped turning because the mechanism that spins the brush is really weak. I bought Best Buy's 5yr extended warranty just because the dog hair has destroyed other vacuums. I have a feeling I won't be needing to use it. This machine is impressive.

Stopped working after over a year

Now the battery does not hold a charge anymore. For the amount of money I paid for the vacuum, I expect the length of use is much more than just over a year.
