    I hate it! It’s all hype and no performance. You vacuum one crumb and it has to be cleaned. Horrible on carpet even are rugs. Don’t buy

      Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're thrilled to hear that thus far, you've been pleased with the Dyson V8 Animal cord-free vacuum. The Dyson V8 Animal features a direct-drive cleanerhead, with gentle carbon fiber bristles safe for any flooring type, but powerful enough to pick up debris from both bare floors and carpets. While the machine will offer less run time in MAX power mode, most households find standard power sufficient for everyday messes. When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

The V8 Animal cordless is a hassle-free vacuum with powerful suction. The powerful direct-drive cleaner head removes ground-in dirt and pet hair from carpets, and self-adjusts to pick up dirt and debris from your bare floors. Dyson V8 Animal also features two suction modes; MAX and standard. Please keep in mind that the V8 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs. Also, while many do use Dyson cordless machines as their main vacuum at home, if you prefer a longer run time, we’d recommend one of our compact uprights or canister models.

      Hello DJ, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that overall, you've been pleased with the Dyson V8 Animal. Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using.
