From the moment we unboxed the Dyson cordless vacuum we have loved every moment. Light weight and easy to use in our 3 bedroom apartment. We should have bought it years ago.

This is my first cordless vacuum purchase. I chose Dyson because of their reputation. After several uses I am a bit disappointed. The charge doesn’t last if you are vacuuming a large area. I have to charge it between sections. It is lightweight and convenient for going up and down the stairs and the attachments are great for vacuuming ceiling fans and furniture. Since it’s cordless it can also be used to vacuum your car. The suction is good but not as good as I expected from Dyson. It does a good job but I should have invested in the better model.

This vacuum is an amazing product!! Let me first say that my life has been transformed going to a cordless vacuum. I didn't realize how much time was wasted flopping a cord around, and moving it from outlet to outlet. I normally wouldn't wall mount something like this, but I took the plunge and screwed it in because I have been so impressed. The vacuum is lighter than I expected, and has enough battery for me to do multiple rooms on three floors. I have a mix of tile, hardwood, and carpet, and it works well on all of them. I even did two staircases at the max suction setting. I think the only function this product is missing would be a good deep carpet clean. If you have a lot of carpet, I would recommend still having a corded full size vacuum for occasional deep cleans. This little guy does a great job, but I don't feel it really gets into the carpet. Don't get me wrong, it picks up the dirt and makes great carpet lines, but I don't think this product was really designed for full out carpet cleaning. That being said, the ease of use and amount of battery life makes this a very, very, very versatile vacuum. In addition being so amazing, it also looks really cool.

Started giving problem after an year. Suction won’t work anymore. Even got it repaired, the problem persists.

wont work with the filter. Works great without the filter on top, but when I put it in it wont work, also wont make suction after I clean it.

Love it, especially because of it being cordless and the suction is strong. No comparison to my old vacuum. Plus it was a gift..

I put it together in 5 minutes or less, charged it and couldn't wait to try it out. I have a Dyson cordless motorhead, you know the fuschia and silver one and that is a great vacuum. I did have a couple issues with it though that the V8 has remedied. Dust balls would get wound up in the filter and the sliding release was difficult to maneuver and then I had to reach my fingers up and grab the dirt to remove it. The filter has been improved! Now I just pull the lever up and the filter rises and the bottom opens dumping the dirt. Anything stuck can be easily removed. The motor is now bigger and somewhat heavier which makes it more powerful for better sucking action. The motorized head is also bigger but still very easy to maneuver. The charge lasts longer (not a whole lot, but longer is better so I can get more done on a charge) AND it is now so much QUIETER! I like the the gray and blue color and mine came with enough attachments to get the job done. Easy to maneuver, great suction, and pretty too. It's a workhorse.

I've been using this for the past five years, and it still performs like it's brand new! I love it so much that I'm buying one as a gift for my brother-in-law, who just moved into his new home..

Dyson makes a well made product, this shows in the details within this product. That attention to detail comes through with function over design, which I appreciate. The main feature I like with their products is the warranty they provide for the customer. I have had to pleasure of speaking with tech support on this vac which was informative and resolved my issue within mins. Needless to say, most tech products don't have that customer service touch after the purchase experience. Pros: I like how organized all the items are placed in the box. You wouldn't think you were getting a lot of accessories when you purchase this item. Easy to read instructions. Comes charged at 20% battery recommended to fully charge before use which takes 5 hours on the first initial charge. Comes with a cradle to place on wall. Cons: No where to place additional heads. Placement for staff needs it's own location, losing items is foreseeable. Overall, this will last a long time and can be seen for reliability in the foreseeable future. It's pieces will need thought on where to store them and the price would have to be justified by the purchaser. At least you're getting a well built product that has great customer service.

Why did I wait so long? Good suction. Lightweight. Battery life is great.

Very impressive performance. I was skeptical at first but the suction power of this small vacuum is ahead of its time. So far I have nothing bad to say about it. Someone reviewing the product said it is not replacing their regular vacuum for the entire house but I completely disagree. This is very capable of being your only vacuum. We get to do 5 rooms before it needs to be recharged again so the amount of time the battery lasts is not a problem. Also, for the price, it better be able to take care of the entire house! It actually makes you want to vacuum. It's fun and easy to use. Watching it perform is also half the fun. You won't believe the power.

I've had this vacuum for two years now. It has worked nicely, charge has been long enough to vacuum my carpeted upstairs, stairs and long rug in my foyer. Unfortunately, it seems two years is the life span of the battery. It dies quicker now and doesn't have the same sucking power. The motor gets very hot as well and almost burns my hand while I am vacuuming. I am currently trying to decide if I should purchase a replacement battery or buy a new vacuum...?

Not good !! I bought this one year before and dint work good now. Net recommend to anyone.

I would highly recommend this vacuum. I have animals and there is no issue removing the hair from my couch, floor, etc. The install is very easy for the wall mount charger. The battery last long on the regular mode, it does go much quicker on the high mode. Although it did last longer than I expected. In the end I still give this vacuum 5 stars

Motor just died, exactly 3 weeks after (2) year warranty ended.

Easy to use, powerful and love the tools, Literally you can use it for everything

Love this vacuum. Does a way better job than my old one. Like how it comes with different heads. Great cleaning tight areas.
