I like my new Dyson. It could have more suction power.

Works great for a while but does sometimes get clog

I have had the Dyson V8 for almost 2 years. I find that vacuum on normal doesn't work very well on any surface and it is necessary to use the MAX setting. It works fairly well on MAX with the brush attachment to clean a small/short carpet. The other attachments aren't very useful when I try to clean my car. I am currently waiting for a warranty part because for the last 2 months the Dyson runs for 3 seconds and then turns off. One customer support rep said it was the battery, another said it was the main motor unit. Neither are in stock and they tell me they can't order it until it is in stock, and I have to call them back when it's in stock for them to order it. Frustrating waste of time trying to get support.

Good brand good vacuum cleaner handles easily and lightly

I can’t deny this vacuum has great suction. But my vacuum is now about 1.5 yrs old and it literally lasts 90 seconds and I have to recharge it. I can’t even finish a bedroom. It really is the most frustrating thing ever. It takes me 2 days to vacuum my house.

This is great at first specially the convenience of being wireless. However, if you are looking for a strong long lasting vacuum this is not it. The high intensity function will work about few months before you will need to replace the battery. I am now looking to purchase a commercial vacuum instead.

a pretty decent vacuum it the battery does not last very long

the battery life on this is very poor and we don't even leave it plugged in all the time. It picks up the same as other ones i have had. Also there is no light on this vacuum my other ones had a light.

We have two toddlers and a puppy German Shepard. This vacuum was a must at this point and we are not disappointed. I can start on the hardwood floors and go over the area rugs with no problem. And it’s surprisingly quieter than our regular dyson vacuum.

I am beyond impressed with this vacuum. The ease of cleaning stairs is perfect. I have a heavy shedding dog and was concerned, but never fails to clean right up after her. I read so many reviews on the best pet vacuum and this does not disappoint. Pricey, but oh so worth it!

The vacuum works as designed. What I did not like is the dumping of the vacuumed debris. The bottom hatch cover drops open and the vacuumed particles start flying out all over the vicinity of where I am. Just dust all over the place. One would need another vacuum to suck up the dust.

It’a a Dyson. Hardly ever use the fullsize vac. Super convenient, lightweight, great for all surfaces, just carry it to the garage and vacuum out yhe car. No cord to trip over. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Does many things well. I was told by Dyson support that it wasn’t designed to pick up dry dog food. They are correct, but where is that information available prior to purchasing? Moma is not happy, neither am I.

Had this model forn2 years. It was my introduction to Dyson and I immediately fell in love. But after 3 years, it was time to trade up.

Have had the vacuum for a little over a year. Has only been used on hardwood floors, and one small rug. Battery barely lasts 10 mins now on a full charge, not to mention takes a solid 4-5 hours to fully charge itself. I'd save your money, research a different brand, and stay away from dyson.

Love this ANIMAL. Use it every day. Busy household with 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 guienna pig. 2 kids and 5 adults. So thankful for this vacuum.

I love the Dyson Cordless Stick Vacuum. It is so easy to use and very reliable. I recommend this to everyone.

I have the Dyson V6 and the V8 is much better and not that much heavier. I recommend it for a medium house hold.

I got suckered in by the hype of Dyson...I personally wasn't blown away by my purchase and wouldn't buy again.
