I got this vacuum two weeks ago and I've been using it ever since. it is powerful, but if you hope that the battery would last longer than 40 minutes or it would charge fast, you're gonna be disappointed. It is a great option for its price and it does the work real good

Excellent suction, very lightweight, my wife loves it. The only downside is that it will not stand up on it's own. You either have to lean it against something, mount it to the wall, or by a stand to put it in. Overall, it is a really good product.

Still have a Dyson V6 from 2016 when I had vinyl/hardwood floors. Now, carpeting. More power in the V8 is paying off. Two years from now, I expect to order a new battery pack from Dyson to give it a new life as anyone should expect. Love the new attachment especially the power head for pet hair.

I had an older Dyson, the battery for which was running out. I replaced the battery and a year later it ran dry again. So I picked this new one up, and boy have there been improvements. It is more powerful than the older model, and much quieter. Also the ergonomics of it are great. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Great cordless vacuum. Convenient, and strong. Wish the battery life was longer though...

Moving from one floor type to another is a breeze with this Dyson, being cordless is huge for not tripping on the cord!

I was super excited for a cordless Dyson (this was my 2nd Dyson - first one (upright) lasted nearly 9 yrs!). Sadly, it is going back because I don't mind a little weight to my vacuum, but for the money, this unit was seriously disappointing. Pros: Lightweight, cordless, maneuverability, suction. Cons: Lightweight (doesn't feel like its 'vacuuming'), have to hold button down entire time (I realize this is to save battery life) - which causes a hand cramp if you're doing whole-house vacuuming, roller stops suddenly when vacuuming higher-pile rugs, battery at full charge only lasts 30-40 mins and that's rarely using the high-suction mode, attachments are a nuisance and emptying it 4x while vacuuming is not for me. Perhaps more suited for a 2-room apartment... Not worth the money.

Love, love, love this vacuum! Super easy to use, and it makes cleaning a breeze. I love that you can flatten it out to pick up things under chairs without having to move them. The battery lasts a decent amount, but I do wish I didn't have to charge it as often. BUT - not having cords while you're vacuuming is the BEST!

This picks up all the dog hair on all the different surfaces of our house. Whether carpet or porcelain tile it does an amazing job.

Great design and fairly powerful for a cordless vac. I like this design over the newer Dyson cordless vacs because the canister is much easier to empty and can be used to stand-up vac on any flat surface. I only wish the battery life was longer..

i expected less. i expected it to be any ordinary vacuum and its sucked really well better than all vacuums ive tried. i didn’t know their was dirt picked up from under the carpet

Ok I rarely "love" a product but this V8 suits my needs perfectly! I live in a converted school bus and it cleans EVERYTHING on one charge. I had used another stick vac which left almost as much dust as it picked up.

Great vacuum cleaner. This is my fourth one and I love it.

I have tiled floors and two dachshunds and constant dust. I saw how well this vacuum worked for my niece under similar conditions and had to have one. I love it. We swept our floor, then used the Dyson stick vacuum and could not believe how much it picked up. Highly, highly recommend! Easy to use and it works!

I researched this Dyson V8 several times, bought it at Best Buy and love everything about it and my buying experience at Best Buy.

I have never owned a vacuum that works so incredibly well. I ran a regular vacuum over my carpet just a day before running this vacuum and it was almost disturbing how well it worked to pull up things the other vacuum missed. Great to have no cord, and multiple attachments giving it many more uses than the conventional vacuum.

Listennnnnn , cleaning just easier with this Dyson!

This is an excellent vacuum. Cleans throughly. Easy to customize and empty. One charge lasts long enough to vacuum an entire floor. I highly recommend this product.
