Having a 1 year, this vacuum has honestly been revolutionary. It does holds a 20 minute charge, which is usually enough time for us to vacuum our entire upstairs before we need to recharge it and we have hardwoods, but it works great on ALL of our rugs and the 1 room in our home that is carpeted.

I love the light weight and it is easy to change tools as necessary. It picks up a mess in a hurry and is easy to clean between uses. I have had it for approximately nine months and the battery remains strong. It gets daily use because I have pets.

I have purchased several and this is the best .i have pets and the other vacuum cleaners did not get all the hairs - this one takes care and cleans with 100 % accuracy.

It’s expensive but if you’re on the fence about getting it just do it!! Ive had a corded bissel vacuum and this vacuum just blows it away completely. Only complaint is that the charge time is 5 hours for only 40 minutes of use. It’s honestly a great vacuum and i will only buy this brand again. Just get it!

I have one a different and i used it for about 2 years but after 1 year using it i can tell the motor of it slowly down. And i finally decided to use dyaon product

It's a great handy little vacuum. Great for quick surface dusting and quick clean up when you dont' want to drag the big vac out. Gave it 4 stars due to poor battery life and long charge time.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Strange thing to say about a vacuum I realize but the Dyson V8 surprised us with it's light weight, power, time it will hold a charge and how effective it is at cleaning up after our two large dogs, cat, and family. This is the first Dyson we have ever owned but it will certainly not be our last.

The new system of emptying the bin is handy also. I haven't had it long, but the charge is lasting as long as I need, around half an hour to do my vacuuming.

Super light to carry and stores easily on the wall in the spare room. Great for hardwood floors, cars, steps etc...gets a workout with two cats and a puppy in the house.

Seems like I have a toy Vaccum or something, which is fine but atleast make the vaccum where you can’t hear any plastic parts squeaking. Like make it into metal or better quality, I understand the lighter weight the better but that just benefits Dyson to spend less money and make more profit too so.
