The convenience of this vacuum is worth every penny. It is light to carry, has versatile attachments and very easy to empty. The battery does have some limitations but I have always been able to finish cleaning without having to stop when I use normal suction level. It's plenty for normal messes. The higher suction level is nice to have for messier than normal jobs but it does cut down on runtime.

This came recommended by a few friends as an apartment-friendly vacuum. While none of the Dysons are cheap, this one really delivers a great balance of power, versatility, and ease of use. Our 2-pet home is much cleaner because this lightweight vacuum is always at the ready for floors or furniture. It comes with a handful of different attachments & a charging cord. It can deplete the charge after a thorough cleaning, but it also recharges pretty quickly. Highly recommended!

This Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum is easy to use, battery lasts long enough for me to vacuum several rooms and is powerful enough. This is the second one, same model, I’ve purchased. The first one about five years.

As with all of Dyson hand vacuums, the V8 Plus is a powerful cleaning tool. It's light in weight, has long battery life, and really deep cleans my carpets, much more so than my older Dyson DC 6 Animal. Its a great product which I highly recommend.

This is a powerful little vacuum. It’s the least expensive Dyson you can get, but it is still a Dyson. You do have to hold the power trigger down manually, but that’s not a big deal. If you use it on “Max” power then the battery doesn’t last as long. Even with these two minor inconveniences, it’s a great vacuum. My rugs are cleaner than they have been in years.

Bought this Dysona couple months ago and instantly fell in love with it. Pros : light weight, powerful, battery life, takes up very little storage space using the wall mount, portable, way earlier to take apart to clean(hair in the roller). Cons: expensive, plastic parts feels a bit brittle, small vaccume tank Over all this is a perfect vaccume for those with blinds, stairs, and/or small hard to reach places, etc. a “plug in the wall” type vaccume would other wise be a big pain in the @**.

The Dyson V8 is a game-changer for quick and efficient cleaning. It’s lightweight, powerful, and the cordless design makes it super convenient to use anywhere in the house. With 6 included accessories, it easily handles floors, furniture, corners, and even the car. The suction power is impressive, and the battery life is perfect for everyday cleanups. The support for the wall is not good to handle.

This thing is a GAME CHANGER. I vacuum every single day!! So easy to move it under and around things. Light and SUPER easy to dump refuse. Amazing. I have 4 cats and allergies so this is a must-have!! The wall-charger where it hangs is also best design ever. Adding and removing extensions plus storage is EASY as they pop into wall charger. FINALLY.

Compact, light, and efficient! Handles around and underneath furniture well. And the accessories make reaching tight spaces easy.

This VAC works great if you have a small 2 Bedroom apartment, or hardwood floors and also good forcleaning your car interior. I wish It had a little big better battery life, but I knew that when I was purchasing it.

Best Vacuum I bought, Its small, compact, an absolute work horse. I have a small apartment so its perfect for cleaning the entire place. All the attachments make cleaning easy and efficient as I have a busy schedule during the work week.

Made the switch from a bulky corded vacuum to the Dyson V8 and have no regrets. It's very lightweight and has great suction power. One thing to note is the max power mode does drain the battery quite a bit faster, but it hasn't been an issue for me yet. The charging stand has the battery built in so it's always charged when you're ready to use it. The smaller handheld attachment is perfect for cleaning dog hair off of couches and stairs.

Great at picking up surface level dirt and the battery lasts long enough for a quick house wide quick sweep. Not recommended for lots of carpet areas, but does well on rugs and hardwood floors. Very easy to move around, unlike bulkier plug in vacuums.

Great product in every sense. I love using it. It is light but gets the job done. The one issue I have is the battery does not last long(20 minutes for max suction setting and 40mins for normal suction setting before recharging the battery). If you have a big space to vacuum, it will became a problem because you will have to wait for long recharge. The newer,current but expensive models solve these issues. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, I recommend buying since you can use anwhere (car, garage, closet etc)

The Dyson V8 Is Power, Lightweight, & Maneuverable. I Was Initially Hesitant To Buy Such An Expensive Vacuum, But It Was Worth Every Penny!

I had already owned a Dyson vacuum but it was just heavy. I wanted something portable. This was it. Its light weight and still sucks up what i need. I love the attachments. They work easily for stairs or tighter spots. This was definitely worth the investment.

So, I snagged the Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum, it's a game-changer. Sucks up pet hair like a champ, and going cordless is a total win. Battery's not too shabby but seriously I would expect longer battery life on max suction. Yeah, it's a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it for a spotless pad. 4 stars, no doubt!

This is my first Dyson vacuum. The V8 replaced my Shark Rocket corded stick. The Dyson V8 shamed my Shark Rocket vacuum. My carpet looked new after using the V8. I wanted to slap myself. Girl, where have you been? I was under a rock with my shark rocket and dull looking carpet. I should have switched long time ago. The suction on the V8 is 10x better. Having a cord slows you down with maneuvering, angling, and going from room to room. Cordless is the best way to go, because you can move faster and efficiently. I usually do 3 large rooms and a hallway before I have to charge it. The vacuum charges fast enough to where I haven't been frustrated waiting for it to charge. It comes with plenty of attachments. I use the V8 on my tile bathroom floor and it removes all of the hair. I have used it on my kitchen wood floor and it removed all of the food crumbs. Speaking of crumbs, you should see how immaculate my sofa is under the cushions. I use it in just about every room. It is lightweight and easy to transport throughout the house. I don't have to apply a lot pressure to push the vacuum which is great for my arthritis and carpel tunnel. I can go on and on about it. Just get it! What are you waiting for?

Nice little cordless vacuum if you can get it on sale. I haven't tried other brands, but having a dyson vacuum for a few years, the regular one with cord, I thought to try this. Comes in handy to vacuum little places, be quick and be able to move the little pieces on and off. Even use for my car to give it a quick 5 minute vacuum of the seats and floors. I feel the regular cord vacuums have more power, especially on carpet or rugs, but your still able to get a good vacuum from this one. The battery last very little, so plan to charge after every 10 minute use or so. It has a MAX setting which uses more power and I use it on MAX for everything, I mean, more power, more cleaning right? It charges a couple hours so best to leave it on while doing other things or at night. If you have a big house that needs a lot of vacuuming to do, then I think Dyson sells extra batteries, but one charge will not get that much completed in my opinion. You don't need to wall mount the bracket that comes with it, though it can be handy to just hang on a wall if you have space or own your own home and can put holes in the wall. You can also find a stand on amazon that you can bolt onto there and has areas to hang the parts that comes with it, which is handy. Emptying it out is very simple and overall this is a vacuum for anyone, but if you have larger homes, expect to need to charge it between your cleaning or get a spare battery to get double the use at a time. Other idea is get the models above that say more power in one charge. But that's an extra couple hundred dollars.
