Buy If You Want Vacuuming to Take Days

I really wanted to love this... I fully charged it before the first use and tried to vacuum my 1,400 sq ft home. It died after the first 20 minutes. I then tried to charge it to finish the job... charging takes several hours. It took me 2 days to vacuum my home and then when I checked the high-pile carpet after, there was still pet hair. Not only that, the brush roller would get jammed and stop rolling so I had to push it harder than I should've. I returned it several days later. It's not worth the price tag.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

I already own the old Dyson canister stow-away which I have had for 15 years. This vacuum is fantastic. Picks up the dog and rabbit hair as well as all the bird seed that falls to the ground. I use it in my bathroom to pick up hair and the kitchen for in between vacuuming. I love it. If you have never owned a Dyson you are missing out. The best suction out of all the vacuums I have ever owned and I've owned a lot in my life.
