They pick up all the dirt and are cordless so easy to move from room to room and even do the stairs! It's amazing how much dirt is in your house. You will clearly see it after using one of these!

Sometimes I have to really push the vacuum to get over the rug. However, that is the only drawback and why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Otherwise it is nice to be able to grab & go without worrying about a cord.

She has been wanted one the V7 for a while. I got her the V8 more battery life and maybe a bit lighter. She uses almost every dAy for quick floor cleaning.

This is the real deal and I rexcmmend it highly.

BUT: it only runs for about 15 minutes using the floor roller attachment (on energy saving mode) and the handle is very hard on the trigger finger and thumb.

For a wireless vacuum this thing has power. Charges pretty quick and the charge last pretty long. Granted, I don't have a large carpet area but I also use it on hard floor surface. I love this product.

I had tried so many other vacuums, until I tried this one. It vacuums so well, especially my cat's hair. I love this vacuum. I really recommend the Dyson V8 Animal Cord-Free Stick Vacuum.

Great if you don't have hardwood

I ended up exchanging it for the Absolute only because I really wanted the fluffy head for the hardwood floors. Perhaps this would have been ok on it, but the bristles seem very stiff, so I didn't want to risk it on new floors! Overall, a great vacuum if you don't need the fluffy head for hardwood!

My only complaint is you have to hold the trigger down the whole time you use it versus just being able to turn it on and go. The battery life isn't the greatest, but it has enough juice to clean my whole downstairs area.

Dyson - V8 Animal Cord-Free Stick Vacuum

It has been a great purchase and I highly recommend it with one exception...it has a short battery life. Our home has wood floors and is 1,400 square feet and the battery runs out before we can clean the entire house.
