Excellent on both rugs and hardwood floors. Even after you have dusted a hardwood floor the V8 picks up even more dust. Lays flat to get under tables, dressers, and beds.

Makes vacuuming a breeze! lightweight, cordless and powerful suction. My mother-in-law loved my vacuum so much that she went out and bought one and bought one as a gift for her daughter too. This is definitely a must have mom hack.

Dyson does dirt!

Makes housework a little more bearable. Cleanout container has plastic clasps that seem flimsy, so I didn't rate it 5 stars. We'll see how it holds up.

I am having the best time of my whole life. I think everyone in the whole world should buy this vacuum. Honestly 10 out of 10 would recommend again.

It’s so lightweight I use it to vacuum my couches and they always look like brand new. Vacuum the whole house is less than 10 mins. Up and downstairs. Totally worth it! In Dyson we trust

I have 3 dogs and 4 cats so animal hair is always a huge issue. After reading some of the reviews (someone actually complained about the suction being too powerful. Ok Karen *eye roll*) I could tell this was the vacuum for me. Ive had it a little over 3 months now and I could not be happier. The Max Suction setting does drain the battery a little faster than just the high power setting but it cleans my 1000sq ft house on a single charge. I have mostly hardwood and a few rugs throughout the home so I have just enough time to finish the whole house on Max setting. It does a great job on my furniture and also in the car. I LOVE MY VACUUM!

Love the V8

Now, carpeting. More power in the V8 is paying off. Two years from now, I expect to order a new battery pack from Dyson to give it a new life as anyone should expect. Love the new attachment especially the power head for pet hair.
