    My V6 broke so I bought this as an upgrade/replacement. attachments are not compatible with V6 attachments. Noticeably Heavier than V6 and better overall

    Returned bc battery life lasted 20 min which wasn’t enough to fully vacuum. Purchased v11 instead

      Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with the battery life of the Dyson V8 Animal. Dyson V8 variants feature two suction modes; MAX and standard. Please keep in mind that the V8 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs.
