    It's not worth the money. I used it for less than a year, and it tore up. I went back to using a regular plug-in vacuum.

      Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're happy to hear that thus far in your use, you have been pleased, overall, with the performance from your Dyson V8 Animal. The V8 Animal cordless is a hassle-free vacuum with powerful suction. The powerful direct-drive cleaner head removes ground-in dirt and pet hair from carpets, and self-adjusts to pick up dirt and debris from your bare floors. Dyson V8 Animal also features two suction modes; MAX and standard. Please keep in mind that the V8 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs. Also, while many do use Dyson cordless machines as their main vacuum at home, if you prefer a longer run time, we’d recommend one of our compact uprights or canister models.
