THIS PICKS EVERYTHING UP, BEST PART, PICKS UP MY LONG HAIR AND DOESNT TANGLE. I HAD A PREVIOUS ONE SIMILAR TO THIS FROM AMAZON IT WAS OK UNTIL ALL MY HAIR WAS TANGLED, AND IT STOPPED PICKING THINGS UP AND IT WAS NO WHERE AS STRONG AS THIS DYSON. PLUS ALL THE ATTACHMENTS ARE AMAZING.

So far I have not purchased a Dyson product I do not like. Works great for pet hair, easy to use, and charges quickly. Great suction and very useful attachments. I use around the house and for the car. About 35-40 minutes of run time on a full charge.

Nothing out there compares: every attachment imaginable, long battery life, incredibly easy to empty and clean, and agile cleaning uses/location combos make the Dyson V8 a must have for staying on top of all east and hard to reach cleaning surfaces (including cars, boats, and garages).

Effective though somewhat disappointing

Picks up lots of dust, hair, fine particulate etc. from my carpet. De-tangling Motorbar cleaner head works great. Though Max speed may drain the battery quite quickly. Good for 1-2 bedroom apartment, small unit.
