The Dyson V8 is an excellent cordless vacuum. It’s very lightweight and easy to maneuver, yet the suction power is impressive for its size. It works great on both hard floors and carpets, and switching between attachments is quick and simple. Battery life is sufficient for cleaning my home, and the cordless design makes cleaning much more convenient. Overall, this is a high-quality vacuum that delivers strong performance. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I would buy the Dyson 6 any day versus the more expensive Dyson 8. I spent the extra money on the 8 and the 6 has a larger dirt cup capacity, has more suction power, & the battery lasts longer. The 8 has the “laser light” which is advantageous so u can see the dirt; but that only works on non carpet surfaces. (& truth be told the carpet attachment is the one with more suction power & we use that on all floors most of the time.) The 6 is less expensive, has less attachments (all that you will actually need- so you won’t have a bunch of other attachments with no where to store them;) and is an overall better performer. I own both models; my house is huge - mostly hard wood and tile; Berber carpet in my bedrooms; and I have 3 dogs. TRUST ME!

Wonderful for my quick clean of floors in the morning. Almost all my floors are wood. In a 3000 sq foot house 4 rugs. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so a daily vacuum is a must. I love that it is light weight and has different attachments, also no bags. The cons, battery sometimes does not last 25 minutes. And ironically on one of my shag carpets it doesn’t work. It also stops on my laminate floor in the pantry. So weird. It has that good of suction, but can be annoying if trying to clean up a mess. I still love it. It just can’t be your only vacuum, or you have to change your life to suit a vacuum., which makes no sense. Hence missing one star.

The vacumm is excelent for our home. We noticed that once we have used it we need to wait for the battery to cool down for it to be charged. That may be a reason someone might not like it but I place it against my wall and charge it later in the day. My home is small so the battery life is not an issue. I like that it has no wire and that I do not have to worry about running it over it with the vacuum. So far we have it for 1 year and it is in a great condition.

I love how light weight, and easy to use it is. No more cords to plug in, and no more bumping into walls, as I did with my last vacuum. I did only give it a 4 star rating, because I bought the vacuum that is suppose to run 40 minutes, but the most I get on a charge is 25 minutes of run time.

This vacuum is very nice and easy to use. The power on it is great and it’s suction power is perfect. We use it for cleaning our main living room and the floor in our kitchen and stairs. The only downfall is if you use max power it lasts about a half hour before it runs out of juice and needs to be recharged. It’s not supposed to be used as a clean your whole house vacuum. The vacuum is light enough you can clean ceiling fans and high vents and it is easy to empty just one button and it dumps into the trash.

This vacuum cleaner changes the way I clean. It is so easy to use in tight places and light as a feather. The bagless feature is great and cleaning the collection cylinder is a breeze. The suction power is phenomenal.

This is absolutely my favorite cleaning device. I keep it charged all the time and then have the versatility to take it anywhere to clean around my house. The attachments are versatile enough to use in different areas. The suction power is just right on low and you have the option to increase too. I would highly recommend this for any size home. Easy to store and worth the investment.

This is such an excellent product! Light weight, easy to bring anywhere in the home, and with the different attachments you can get all the nooks and crannies and pick up all the animal hair! It’s easy to hang on the mount and easy to take off! It’s so easy to empty and clean! I even just bought one for my mom for Christmas because it will be so much easier than a traditional, heavy, plug in vacuum! I would recommend this product to everyone!

Having recently moved into an new home with only hardwood floors downstairs, we wanted to get a second, smaller vacuum to have on the bottom level with our Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal (long may it reign) upstairs for the carpets. If it wasn't evident, we love Dyson vacuums, fans, etc. Naturally we looked to this, and while pricey, it is by all means worth it. The suction on it is fantastic, handling wood floors and area rugs without issue, and vacuuming up an astounding amount of animal hair and dust without breaking a sweat. It's also perfect to use on the stairs, and light enough to use to clean high up areas that would normally be out of reach or a little inconvenient to get to. This is a fantastic beast!

We LOVE our Dyson V8 Cordless! Works effortlessly on both carpets and ceramic tile floors. Easily picks up dust, crumbs, and hair from our dark-coated GSD. If you have a large area, you'll empty the dust cup a few times during use, but it only takes a few seconds. The included attachments and wall-mount docking station give you everything you'll need in a single box! The "MAX Suction" setting is fantastic for deeply-embedded dirt in carpet fibers, but even the standard setting is more powerful than most vacuums on the market - we rarely use the MAX setting and still get a fantastic clean!

Perfect vacuum. Pros: -easy to maneuver -easy to clear canister -detachable for handheld and I used for my vehicle -battery life is not shabby for the size -suction is amazing -not as loud as of conventional vacuums Cons: - price - charger design is clunky - perhaps make a quick charger

Cordless vacuums are the way to clean! They are so easy to use, powerful to draw out the dust in the carpet. The rechargeable battery keeps the unit ready for instant jobs I love my Dyson cordless vacuum and would not buy any other product to clean my house.

First off, rarely do I pulblish a review even though I prime everything I possibly can (seriously coffins are more affordable on amazon). This vacuum is the holy grail of all cordless vaccums. Honestly, one should not love a piece of cleaning equipment as much as I love this. But alas, I do! It does have one con: the battery. Maybe you get 40 minutes on regular mode but if your like me, you want to go all out on the super max power. If so, the battery will last about 20 minutes. Either way, it’s not that big of an issue for me but i also don’t live in a large house (my home is 1,300 square feet). If you live in a larger space either look at the plug in Dyson vacuums or consider this your quick picker upper. Pros: super lightweight. Go ahead and do it one handed because this baby doesn’t need all your body weight to move from room to room. All that time you spend dragging out the bulky old fashioned vacuum is over. No more plugging and unplugging. So you save time there. It’s easy to dump and you won’t have to untangle hair from the roller.

Awesome vacuum for a small space. House is only about half carpet, so I love the versatility to move it around. Dies super fast. Like insanely fast. Hate to deduct a star for that but it is inconvenient. Would be perfect with a superior battery! Other than that, sucking power is really good. We have long ish carpet and I feel like it does a good job getting human and dog hair up. Maybe not as great as a super high end vacuum but it serves its purpose being lightweight and movable.

I really love this product. It has helped me so much and made things a lot easier for me overall. It’s simple to use, works exactly how I expected, and has been very reliable so far. I use it often, and it’s made a noticeable difference for me. I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

Vacuuming used to be one of my least favorite chores, but now the Dyson has me vacuuming every week because it's so fun and easy. With my old vacuum, it felt like a full body workout trying to push it across carpet, but the Dyson glides across carpet so easily (and hardwood too, of course) and picks up every strand of hair that I shed - and I shed A LOT. The additional tools are also great for getting into those tight spaces and cleaning hair/fur off the couch. It's super easy to take apart to clean as well. I know some people say the battery life could be higher, but this is my first cordless vacuum so I can't really compare to others, and honestly I'm just glad I don't have to deal with the hassle of holding on to/tripping over the vacuum cord. It doesn't take too long to charge either which is nice. I personally don't use the docking station to charge but it's a cool feature I guess. This is definitely the most I've ever spent on a vacuum, but I think it was totally worth it!

This vacuum is excellent as long as you do not get too aggressive w the size of items you are trying to suck up. It can clog easily and can require frequent declogging if you try to do too much. Keep to carpet and lite messes.

This is the best vacuum I have ever bought in my entire life. I will never gear away from this Dyson again if I ever have to replace, I will do so with the newer version I have been using this vacuum for 2 1/2 to 3 years now and it works just as well as on day, one certainly worth the money and the quality.

My home is about 1100 sqft. Just me and one dog that doesn't shed much. Works really well. Plenty of charge to do the whole house and clean some furniture. Great attachments. The head for the floor is motorized and the upholstery attachment is motorized so it does a great job cleaning pet hair out of furniture. Great for a quick clean of vehicle floor mats. Has two suction/power levels. I've never had the battery run down using it in standard mode. I've read will last 20 minutes, but I always finish before then. The super suction will last about 7 mins. The good thing about the trigger operation is you can let go and conserve battery power between rooms/areas. My house is all hardwood and/or tile. The head is rotating for carpet, but it doesn't hurt the hardwood or tile. Does a great job of picking up. Canister is easy to empty. The wall mounting charging kit is easy to install too. So convenient for those quick cleanups when you don't want to drag out a regular vacuum, but unless your house is really big and a lot of people and pets, this will be more than enough. Charges from dead to full in about 5 hours.
