    This is my 4th Dyson stick vacuum. It is quieter than the other ones and does a great job. The problem is the way you empty it. My old ones emptied so easily. This one was more expensive than my past ones as I wanted an upgrade. The frustration I go through every time I want to empty it makes me regret buying it. Some things are just not worth it. I will go back to the cheaper model next time.

      The bin of your V8 will have a MAX fill line to indicate when it is full and time to empty. We generally will recommend emptying your bin by at least the top MAX line that the bin has. I'm also happy to inform you that the clear portion of your bin may be removed for optional maintenance, if desired.

    I have no idea how I lived without this vacuum for so long! With all of the attachments, it’s so easy to clean baseboards, dust the ceiling fan, get rid of cobwebs in corners, get cat hair off of everything, vacuum the stairs, get the dust that piles behind the toilet... everything! We have a 1200sqft house, and I am able to do the upstairs and downstairs on one charge. And it’s great on our hardwood floors! I can’t recommend this vacuum enough!

    This was a gift for my wife. We love it, very easy to use on both carpet and our Pergo floor. YouTube reviews show that it doesn’t pick up large objects like Cheerios but I guess I don’t have an issue with that because I’m not dropping a bowl of cereal on the ground. Great for quick cleanups as well as cleaning the whole house. Great for stairs too.

    Light weight and good suction. Only drawback is battery is out within 10minutes of usage on high suction which limits to vaccum only one room

    I do not like to broom at all!! So I purchased this vacuum for this reason and I love it!!! You won't regret this purchase. The only thing I wish is that the battery will last longer in the max power. So if you are trying to buy one of the Dyson's cord free vacuums I suggest this one, if you have a budget in mind but if you can spend more definitely buy the next one so the battery can last longer!

    Gift for daughter so this is her review: So happy to finally made the switch to Dyson. The V8 Animal is easy to use, lightweight and barely takes up any storage space. I especially love the added suction strength for helping me pull up embedded cat hair in the carpet, and the detachable feature so I can vacuum my car out! I find myself getting excited to vacuum now!
