    His was a gift for my brother. He had an older model shark. This definitely has the new car smell so to speak. Amazing performance. Just make sure that if you are using on hardwood floors take the time and buy the hardwood floor attachment as well. You will not be disappointed.

    After 2.5 years of using this product, the battery only last 3 minutes. The dust collector gets clogged easily, hair gets wrapped up on the bristles, and the battery life went downhill very quickly. Get a competitors vacuum. This one is all brand and no substance. Much happier with my Shark vacuum now.

    We have a Dyson Ball Animal and have been loving it, but it is a bit heavy to haul around the split level house. The V8 is not as powerful as the Ball, but it is almost on par with the hyper full power switch. It is also light weight and easy to move around, it have been our go to vacuum for small job clean up.
