Did a sufficient job cleaning but battery doesn’t last long when used in high power. Need to recharge to complete the entire house. 7 months an after purchase, the shaft of the vacuum stick snapped and broke. Not impressed with the quality of this vacuum .

Pretty easy to use. I just wish the battery life was a bit longer.

I used to use a broom to sweep my floor until my friend told me about this vacuum. Oh how amazing this product is. It’s so easy to use and it picks up everything!!!! I use this before I use the tineco mop and they are the perfect match made in cleaning heaven.

I just bought the cordless Dyson V8 animal vacuum cleaner. I had to replace my old cordless Dyson. I had bought it in 2012. I have the corded as well. I bought it before the cordless and it is still working great.

I love the vacuum and love the attachments. I do wish it could keep battery power for longer.

Very disappointed in this vacuum, especially for a Dyson. I have mostly hardwood floors and a few large area rugs that are basic in terms of material and cleaning/maintaining. Vacuuming the hardwood floors, the suction is so bad it takes three times going over to get the simplest amount of crumbs. Using the wand part of the vacuum is the worst of all. The air coming out of the motor is so strong it blows everything before the lack of suction from arm has any chance to suck it up. I wanted to see if it was really getting anything up from the rugs so I used my old 25 year old eureka vacuum over the same rug I just used twice with the Dyson v8 and saw the eureka not only sucked up everything the Dyson missed but had MORE crap in the dust tank. Dyson was better before opening plants in Singapore and china in 2002. Don’t waste your money

Yhe only complaint is it struggles with thicker rugs.

For this vacuum works good for 20 minutes and u need to charge this again for another 3-4 hours , so i problaby return this.. But if i keep it, now im know this vacuum works only for quick cleaning , no for a full house cleaning

I was debating whether I want to buy the Dyson V10 or V8, and eventually I bought V8 due to the price and I think I made the right decision. Consider I have a smaller place, the battery life is not a big issue for me. However, I think for people who have a larger place, V10 might be a better choice due to the battery life.

Battery don’t last long, not that good on rugs, overpriced for what you get. Fell one time standing up and not it’s broke.

great pick up over, very light weight, very easy to use

Love it! At first I was going to return it because the battery only lasted like 10 min. If you have it on full blast the battery won’t last long which I later found out. Glad I stuck with it because it’s a good vacuum.

The vacuum has excellent suction for a cordless vacuum. Also, the wall mount makes the unit easy to store. The only disappointment is the change in the emptying of the dust/dirt. The older models were much more convenient and easy to operate.

Having a house full of hard surface flooring and 5 little dogs this is the PERFECT quick grab and go. I am able to vacuum 1600 sq ft in just one charge (then takes 5 hours for next time). The cup holds all the dust/dirt/debris. It's light, fast and convenient. Very happy with my purchase. Have owned now for 3 months.

I only wish I had bought this sooner. I take the base off and walk around with just the tube and suck up all the little things that are always on the tile and hardwood floor. Has lots of power and works better on my area rugs than any corded vac I have ever owned. Corded vac going to the yard sale.

This vacuum is just what I needed! I am almost 80 years old and my old vacuum is very difficult for me to use. My old one is too heavy and it bothers my wrists. My new Dyson vacuum is light weight and cleans very nicely. Have had it for about 3 weeks now and am so glad I purchased it!!

A must for people with pets that shed. Super light weight making it maneuverable. Attachments allow for use in small spaces or hard to reach areas. Brush speed is so fast that most hair doesn't get all caught up on it. Holds charge for a while.
