    The vacuum works great. We use the max suction option for best results, only wish the battery life were longer on that setting. We are only getting about 20 minutes of run time on it max per charge.

    Great suction and range in attachments. However, battery dies rather quickly and takes forever to charge. Also holding down a button for continuous use is annoying.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).     Having never owned a dyson before I was highly satisfied with this product. Great for stairs and light weight. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because the first one I purchased was faulty right out of the box.
