You get what you pay for. So far I have not purchased a Dyson product I do not like. Works great for pet hair, easy to use, and charges quickly. Great suction and very useful attachments. I use around the house and for the car. About 35-40 minutes of run time on a full charge.

This is the best vacuum we've ever owned. Its powerful, lightweight, and easy to handle. Its great for all types of floors, and sweeping the stairs just got a whole lot easier. We have 2 long hair cats in the house, and this thing sucks the hair right up! Our carpets have never looked so good! Just buy it! You won't be disappointed.

I love the vacuum! Best money I ever spent and would definitely recommend to a friend! Great suction, love the cordless, light weight, and pretty. Vacuums my floors and my furniture. I have a long haired cat so I use this everyday. Well worth the money spent!

Yes its expensive, but powerful, light and easy to take everywhere you need to. I found it on sale at Best Buys so I'm very happy.

This is the best Vacuum I’ve ever owned. Been using it for almost a year now. It’s Light weight, very powerful, and easily stored on wall with charger.

I love this! So convenient and light. I have 2 dogs so the dog hair is everywhere. This makes is so easy to run across my time and get the dog hair u.

I quite like this dyson. It does much better then the other previous dysons I have had. It picks up that hair from my Great Pyrenees which is AMAZING. I highly recommend this vacuum. The only thing I wish was that it had a bigger canister

battery drains too fast and I don't like the wall mount, prefer if it has it's own stand.

I have a German Shepard mix and this vacuum has done wonders. I also live in a townhouse so it’s nice not to drag around a cord going up and down the stairs. Lite to hold, a little pricy but I bought the 3 year warranty because they’re known to get broken easily if they have a big fall.

Very great vacuum picks up pet hair no problem, and never got tangled, also loved how nimble it is to maneuver.

Very disappointed I bought this at 350 dollars, for a full 100 dollars less I recommend the Shark Pet Plus stick vacuum. The Dyson V8 has a much smaller bin capacity, and lacks the lights on the front of the vacuum that the Shark has. Very upset I spent 350 dollars on this. The build quality and suction are not any better than the Shark for substantially more money. I understand this is the entry level Dyson, but you should at least be able to beat your competitors priced a full 100 dollars less.

This Vacuum is a decent price and has amazing performance. It’s light, nimble, and while is a bit plasticky and wiggles a little with attachments feels so good to use daily. The turbo mode only lasts like 10 minutes but boy does it have power! The Handheld mode is where it shines. It’s so ergonomically fit for your hand, and you don’t get too tired using it. I won’t lie I returned it from BestBuy and bought the same model directly from Dyson because they included a hardwood floor attatchment as well as the regular one for free and it’s like $60 so it was worth it. The handheld fabric vacuum roller is absolutely clutch even without pets but with pets it’s a lifesaver. Absolutely recommend!

This vacuum takes no effort. It is light, has strong suction, and doesn't take up space. I actually like vacuuming now, it's fun with this vacuum.

Best I’ve ever had, picks up all the hair that me and my daughters loose it’s so good it looks like a wig when I empty it!!!

This is a good product and it’s doing what I thought it would do. The only down side is that it’s relatively easy for the floor roller to get stuff stuck in it.

Have been wanting a Dyson Stick Vacuum for a while and finally got the Dyson V8 Animal. So far I love it. Was easy to put together and super easy to use. Has great suction, picks up everything..it does have a shorter run time then expected but still did my whole house, rather quickly too.

Battery life is great I’m able to vacuum my whole house on one charge unless it’s on max then I get about 10-15 minutes on smooth flooring less for carpet. The head makes it easy to vacuum around and under things

I did a lot of research before purchasing this vacuum. I have 2 dogs inside and cats that go in and out. I needed a vacuum that would easily pick up dirt and pet hair off the floor and not clog! This vacuum has been well worth the money. Long battery life that allows me to clean my whole house without it running out of charge. The handheld option is great for vacuuming furniture. If you’re torn on whether to purchase this or not, I don’t think you will regret it!
