    Have always been a cheap Walmart vacuum person. Switching to the Dyson was a great decision. HEPA filter keeps from stirring up allegrens and the attachments make it easy to pick up pet hair and dirt in a two floor apartment. Max power mode really deep cleans and the battery lasts long enough to do the entire place with plenty of charge left.

    Battery doesn’t last long. Otherwise I really enjoy the flexibility of a handheld and floor features. Helps alot because I have to vacuum everyday because of cat hair.

    This vacuum takes little room to store, holds a charge for a long time and has the strength to pick up most everything. It is easy to maneuver through the house without a cord. The only thing I would say it is a bit complicated taking it apart to clean out but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it.

      Hello Chelsea, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn you've felt the suction in your V8 isn't as powerful as you like. Your machine offers two modes of suction power - regular for everyday cleaning, and MAX, for an added boost for those more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool).
