Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson V8 Animal cordless is a hassle-free vacuum with powerful suction. The powerful direct-drive cleaner head removes ground-in dirt and pet hair from carpets, and self-adjusts to pick up dirt and debris from your bare floors.
Dyson V8 Animal also features two suction modes; MAX and standard. Please keep in mind that the V8 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs. Also, while many do use Dyson cordless machines as their main vacuum at home, if you prefer a longer run time, we’d recommend one of our compact uprights or canister models.

Easy but missing power

Sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Best Buy isn’t helping so I have try to resolve it with dyson directly.

Stopped working after over a year

Now the battery does not hold a charge anymore. For the amount of money I paid for the vacuum, I expect the length of use is much more than just over a year.

Insane! I also lost a large brown rubber ban the first time I used it from somewhere in the vacuum. We will see what "broke"... Awful to use to vacuum under a bed...
