    My V6 broke so I bought this as an upgrade/replacement. attachments are not compatible with V6 attachments. Noticeably Heavier than V6 and better overall

    It’s picks up most of the dog hair on my couch but on the carpet it picks up everything.

    Purchased a month ago and the vacuum already won’t work on max suction. Have cleaned it several times and that doesn’t appear to be the issue as it was only used 3-4 times. Not happy.

    It's not worth the money. I used it for less than a year, and it tore up. I went back to using a regular plug-in vacuum.

      Hello, this is Summer with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to share your review of your Dyson V8 vacuum. Your Dyson V8 cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.
