    Returned bc battery life lasted 20 min which wasn’t enough to fully vacuum. Purchased v11 instead

Please keep in mind that the V8 offers plenty of suction on normal power to effectively clean your floors because of the motorized brush bar. MAX power is really only needed for tough cleaning jobs.     After charging this cordless vacuum. The charge only lasted about 5 minutes and that is if you don’t use it on the highest speed. It takes to long to charge. I returned it .

      Hello Alyssa, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to hear that you were experiencing a run time issue with your Dyson V8 Animal. This certainly sounds very unusual to hear. Right out of the box, the machine will be set to MAX power mode. In Max power, run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using.
