Good Vacuum Battery Not so Much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In terms of the vacuum portion it does what it says it does has very good suction picked up just as much as our old Dyson. However the battery life is not so good. If you’re looking for something to clean a small apartment maybe this would be the vacuum for you however for those of you that have houses with multiple rooms you may want to consider something else. This vacuums battery life is roughly 10 maybe 15 minutes at the most and required charging between rooms. Now I don’t have a very large house maybe 15 to 1700 ft.² roughly . And after doing our living room and maybe a quarter of another bedroom this unit would die and require re-charge. If you’re looking for something to do a smaller home or maybe a condo or apartment this might be for you the quality of the product and how it acts as a vacuum cleaner is not bad but not so much the battery life.

The Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using.

Don't have to drag a heavy sweeper around no cord to worry about. Great for whole house cleaning or as a quick use to pick up something you find on the floor. Light and handy to use.

Cleans so well On both carpet and hard wood floor. Suction is strong on both settings. Does well . Hair does NOT tangle. Which was a one of the reason why I bought this vacuum. So easy to clean canister, I really like the wall mount and how I can charge the Dyson on it. Decent charge. Good weight. I would highly recommended this to everyone.

I hate having to deal with cords and with this it is just so easy, has great suction and holds a charge for a long time.

Small But Mighty

I am 83 and I needed something light enough for me to use everyday to clean up kitty hair and litter. It is small but it does an awesome job. So easy to use all the attachments too. All vacuums that are advertised as light weight are not light weight. I bought one of those a few months ago and just can’t use it. So happy I read about the Dyson V8!!!!!

Battery life could be better

I love that this swivels easily under chairs…I wish that this held a bit more charge when using the “max” mode which is the setting I prefer to clean the laminate floors. Overall I’m happy with the purchase so far.

This was the perfect combination and option to meet both requests. This thing is amazing, picks up anything from any surface with no performance degradation when switching between surfaces. This quite simply put is a rockstar stick vaccum. The outstanding performance reminds me of the Princes song "The Stick".

Got it for the wife's new year's gift. The unit is easy to assemble, easy to understand instructions, and very easy to operate. No problem with daily house work, not heavy to handle, one hand operation. Cleaning the unit is also easy. Battery indicator is convenient so you know the power left before you start the job. Charging is quick and easy...

This V8 model does not disappoint. Great battery life, great power, comes with accessories, and have purchased more accessories to go with it like a power switch holder. Great product, definitely not hype, i use it everyday because I love it and it makes everything feel cleaner.

My kids are always making messes around the kitchen area which could be caused from tracking in dirt from outside or crumbs from food. I bought it for my wife for Christmas…which I was nervous shed be upset to recieve a cleaning tool for Christmas. Shes loves it and so do I. We have vacuumed the whole house multiple times sonit can be a primary vacuum. For us its secondary.
