Great Vacuum for those with wooden floors and a dog. It may not be worth it for those without carpets but I beg to differ. We use this vacuum to clean our couch, runner area rug and corner walls. Even better, were able to use this to vacuum out our cars which is a plus. What's also great about this Dyson V8 is it's light weight, easy clean up portability and takes up very little space. It's important to invest in a good vacuum with great suction and versitile use.

After the first charge this dyson works great. Kitchen floors, entry mats and low pile carpets at all a breeze with the machine. I bought it because I wanted something light weight that could easily go under beds and sofas. It works perfect. Attachments are all very useful.

A significant upgrade over my previous cordless! The vacuum has a good amount of suction, and the brush cleans itself. Emptying the canister is much more efficient too. While some corded vacuums probably have more power, this vacuum does everything I need and more.

I have had this for about 3 weeks and I use everyday. I have two rabbits and I vacuum everyday. I have also used to vacuum my car with the handheld piece. Works great! Picks up everything, lightweight and maneuvers well. the only downside is that you must hold the lever in order to turn it on and keep it held there, If you have a lot of ground to cover it may be tiring.

I purchased this in hopes that it would work great on our carpet with our long-haired cats. This, Dyson does not disappoint! I did a lot of research on the different models, end of the day this one absolutely exceeds my expectations! It works so well my daughter bought one from Best Buy too, so now we match :)

I am living in a 2 floors townhouse and this cable free and light vacoom is perfect. I changed the first one because of electric shocks but second is ok.

I love it. It picks up everything. Only downfall is that I have to hold on to the button for it to stay on.

Nice but doesn’t hold charge well. We have a 2400 sf home with concrete floors and I can’t even get through my whole house on one charge which is incredibly frustrating. I use for my baseboards first and then have to recharge before I can use for the main flooring. And even then-need to recharge during cleaning. For the price-I don’t feel it’s worth it. Hate saying that because this is my 3rd Dyson so obviously I love the brand but this is my first cordless and I was hoping for superior battery life. I thought about purchasing another battery to switch out when one died but that is a chore in and of itself. I wish Dyson would make switching batteries out way easier….i would’ve given 4 stars had that been the case.

Great product. Picks up lots of dust, hair, fine particulate etc. from my carpet. De-tangling Motorbar cleaner head works great. Though Max speed may drain the battery quite quickly. Good for 1-2 bedroom apartment, small unit.
