This thing SUCKS but in a good way. If you need something in your life that can handle a mess this is for you! No it can’t prescribe Xanax but it will clean the dirt from your fallen plant or messy dog.

I should have read the other reviews which let you know that the battery lasts about 15 - 20 minutes when on Max setting. Well if you have 2 six year old twins and a dog - you always want Max suction when vacuuming! The cordless vacuum works well - but always seem to need more time to clean. Buyer beware - you need to read the fine print... battery times listed are for regular suction setting and without the use of the rotating sweeping stick.

I purchased the Dyson V8 last week. We have owned a Meile C3 for the last 10 years. Let me say this V-8 is big power in a small package. I love to Vacuum now. Light weight and and easy to maneuver, I don't know why I waited so long.

The pet tool you get with this is amazing!! Well worth paying the extra$$. We have 3 cats and a dog in the house and it is working great. At first it feels cheap but it is very light weight and strong. The tools/attachments work so well it is an huge difference from any other vacuum we have had. Vacuum with floor attachments on low setting and put it in high for crevice/suction tools!

This vacuum is extremely handy – but it only lasts for about 20 minutes, but let’s be real who wants to vacuum longer than 20 minutes! Great for quick pick ups, and day-to-day vacuuming – but will not replace your full size vacuum for deeper cleaning. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

I’ve only used it a few times, but it certainly picks up well. Easy to maneuver. Still getting used to emptying it, although it would help if I read the instructions. Lots of little gadgets. Helps that it can be used as a dustbuster. Also reaches to the ceiling and in corners with the pointed attachment. I wanted cordless Nd got it!

Overall this vacuum is a wonderful choice. I have a dog and 2 children and being able to just pull our the vacuum and pickup crumbs without a cord is so conveneient. In addition I am able to vacuum my car whenever I want to; that’s a bonus. I wouldn’t suggest using it to vacuum more than one room with carpet at a time because the battery charge is about 45 minutes on Hugh suction. But for every day use this is amazing!!!

I love it. It picks up everything. Only downfall is that I have to hold on to the button for it to stay on.

Huge improvement over the Dyson V6! More powerful, a little bit larger bin capacity, and the way it opens and empties the dirt in the bin is much better than the old version. Longer battery life is a plus, although I still don’t understand why Dyson doesn’t make these with removable, rechargeable batteries like all of our power tools so when one dies you can pop it out and replace it with a freshly charged battery, come on guys!

Though I didn't NEED a new vacuum cleaner, I've always been fascinated by the Dyson appliances. And the reviews on this were pretty good. I love that I don't have to stop in the middle of cleaning and unplug and replug in somewhere else. Even in my small place, it was a pain in the butt, and I always tripped over the cord at least once. But the charge lasts at least a full cleaning cycle, and with the accessories, I can haul this out and clean out my car without having to use extension cables. So much easier!!!

I’ve had so many different vacuums and this one sucks the most… in a GREAT way!! The battery life could be better but the power behind it for such a small vacuum is AMAZING! Definitely recommend if you have pets as well!

I absolutely love this vacuum I have a small apartment and my other vacuum was so bulky. This is so convenient, light weight and it does a great job!!! What I don't like is the battery life, it dies after being fully charged after only 25 mins. That is ok for me because I have a small area to clean but for longer jobs it doesn't last very long. I still give it 4 stars and it is a great starter vacuum if you are new to Dyson products!

I have been looking a very good and affordable vacuum that is able to clean hardwood floors, tiles, walls, etc. I did a lot of research before making my decision. I had a hard time on deciding on which one to choose. There were different type of models and decided to go with this model. Ever since I got this vacuum, I am really enjoying it and it is so easy to use--cordless and light weight.
