Customers appreciate the DIRECTV 2-Bay UHF Antenna's excellent reception and its ability to pick up many channels, even from a considerable distance. Many found it easy to install and a good value for the price. The antenna's compact size is also a plus for those with limited space. While some users noted the antenna's UHF-only functionality, overall feedback highlights its strong performance.

Hey, this antenna just works! Pulls in everything I expect after consulting the TVFOOL website for available broadcast stations. Before you spend big $$ on a fancy antenna, try a homemade version to get an idea of what's possible in your area. I stripped back the insulation on a spare piece of coaxial cable and attached the wires to a metal fruit basket. The center core is one wire, and then you have to twist the interior sheathing of the coaxial to create the second wire. Bread basket antenna worked good enough for me to try a store-bought antenna. This Pro Brand DIRECTV 2-Bay UHF Antenna works just fine, and it's affordable.

So I was with Directv and after overpaying once the years discount was over I cut the cord. This was way better than the leaf style antennas for double the price.
Easy install. I just connected it to the opposite side of the directv dish bar and downloaded the RCA Signal finder app. Swapped a Coax connection to the dish and connected my Two TVs with a splitter / amplifier and the signal is amazing. All the channels in Los Angeles are picked up.

I've tried 2 other antennas, 1 flat square and 1 amplified flat square. I did get results with the amplified one, but would have fade out and couldn't always count on being able to get the channels I wanted. I set up this antenna hanging from my office window and got the full spectrum of available (I believe 27 to 29). I did not add an amplifier either. This antenna picked up the channels from the transmitter which was approx. 60 miles away. Probably out shines those which cost a lot more.

Works good for a small unit. One part had a break in it that clamped the connection area but that would not cause a problem. I have it mounted under another antenna at 90 degrees to pick up stations from another direction. It is directional so will have to adjust to get best alignment.

I purchased this to use with the TV in my bedroom. After the initial scanned, I got 67 channels, not bad for an indoor installation. I still miss 2 important(for me) channels. If I turn the antenna direction, I would get those 2 but then lost some others. After a little modification to the antenna, now I got 76 channels. Now I got all the channels that important to me. I believe if it was installed outdoor, it would perform much better.

Works great. I’m using it indoors. It doesn’t have much more of a footprint than the flat antennas. It works way better

With this antenna I get 20+ channels . I have the antenna sitting in the floor and it works, but when I place the antenna near the window I get better signal. It is a good antenna for the price.

This antenna worked about as well as I could expect given the area I live in. Tucson has mountains around it so reception possibilities vary depending on the location of the transmitter, the antenna and the local mountains. I get very good reception on all the TV transmitters to which I have a line of sight. A passive high gain antenna would be bad in this location. It would not get any better signal quality, but its narrower antenna pattern would not see all the signal sources at once no matter what direction it was pointed. It would need an antenna rotator. This antenna has 180 degree pattern (not 360) and that works fine in this location. An amplified omnidirectional antenna would not get me any more stations that this one - it can't amplify signals that aren't there. But it would be more expensive and complicated.

Out of all the antenna's I have tried. This is about the best. I use it as a inside antennae. Looks strange in the bedroom. But heck it works. Every once in awhile it pixels the screen. But I cannot put up an outside one. So this is the best so far.

Don't waste you money on indoor antenna.. $15, easy to assemble and I got over 60 channels. Keep in mind my house is surrounded by much bigger homes blocking signal. No need for fancy antennas, you won't regret it.

I live in an apartment and have a hard time pulling in TV stations. This little gem was able to pull in channels that I could never pick up previously. Station broadcasts are approximately 40 miles away. It makes me wonder how many more stations I could pick up if this antenna were outside. I only have it hanging by a window. I hope this review helps others.

Got by with Insignia rabbit ears hung outdoors under the carport on 30 feet of coax the last 3 years. Reviews and price point prompted this purchase. After some home engineering, the antenna is mounted at 14 feet and receives 30 channels from the initial scan. Nine even speak English. Lucky enough to live within 10 miles of broadcast towers so no amplification was needed. Provides a great picture via 39 feet of coaxial cable on a 40" three year old Hinsense. Have not used a splitter or ran a grounding wire yet but will update if that diminishes reception or picture quality.

Ditch satellite and get this little antenna. I mounted it on my satellite bracket. Remove the co-ax cable from the dish and hook it up to the antenna. Sends the antenna signal to all TV's in the house via the coaxial cable. We get about 20 channels here from it. Best part is that the channels are still free for now.

Excellent antenna for price. I bought 3 others
up to $30. which I returned because they didn't pick up all local channels. I put in attic and it works great picking up double the channels other more expensive antennas did not.
Highly recommend.
