My son is 8 and I wanted to buy something like an echo but more for kids. I wanted to be able to limit what he can listen to, more on the appropriate side of things. This is perfect plus I was able to get one year free of Amazon kids.

I loved the Echo Dot Kids (5th Gen) because it makes learning and play seamless. The owl design is adorable, and Alexa feels like a fun, safe companion. Music, stories, and jokes keep things lively, and the parental controls give me peace of mind. It’s smart, cute, and totally worth it.

We bought it for my grandson. He enjoys listening to his stories and listening to his lullabies and much more. Even the little own gets his attention. Learned how to say owl as well. He enjoys it.

it really comes in handy for alarms, reminders and music it had multiple uses and great for kids too !

I got this as an item to help my 4 year old twins go to bed. It works wonders!!. I also use it as an alarm in the morning for them. The alarm is gentle and after it's turned off, it gives a synopsis of the weather, tells a joke, kid related news and plays music. It really helps to start their day....additionally they are speech delayed so if they want Alexa to stop and she doesn't understand. They can just tap on the top of it for her to stop.

Adorable!!! my daughter wanted this and I was a little hesitant because I don’t have anything else that I use Alexa on honestly it didn’t matter when my daughter taught me how to use it. It’s unbelievable. It lets us know what the weather is in the morning, so she’s ready for school and the bus. You’re not even use it for myself as an adult. It’s just a delightful thing to have we enjoy it.

Abso loved this for my kids they are having a ball with this,they can talk to each other from their rooms and are having a great time .

Amazon makes a great version for Alexa just for kids. Grandkids love it and talk/music/ tell stories.

My son loves birds and has been falling asleep to cricket sounds my mom has one so when my baby spent the night over there he loved it so I got one of his own with the little nest

Our kids love this item. They tend to use it on a daily basis. Its really easy and set up to use. Our kids use it to call us daily without leaving the comfort of their own room!
