For volume issues, check the volume settings by saying "Alexa, set volume to 10" or manually adjust using the volume buttons on top of the device. You can also check the Alexa app to ensure volume limits aren't restricting the maximum volume in the parental controls.
For connectivity issues, weak Wi-Fi connection can affect performance. Try moving your Echo Dot Kids closer to your Wi-Fi router. Restart your Echo Dot by unplugging it from power, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Check that your Wi-Fi network is working properly with other devices, and ensure your Echo Dot has the latest software updates through the Alexa app.

That’s all I wanted from it. It comes with a subscription to Amazon kids which you need to disable right away unless you specifically want this speaker for children I disabled that Amazon makes it difficult to disable. It have to do it the Alexa app but it can be done.
