Bought this to go in my daughters 2011 Honda insight. That must have been one of the last models before they started installing back up camera as a standard. Had the Geek Squad install it and they were not super sure this model would work with her car as it is not a listed option for that model. Mirror is pretty heavy and it fell off the windshield almost immediately after it was installed. That had warned us that that might happen. Her windshield had a crack in it anyway, so we just decided to replace the windshield and have a professional attached the mirror to her car. No more problems after that. Works great and she is much more confident when driving. Much cheaper than trying to update her car to a model that had the backup camera built in.

We needed a back-up camera for our 2014 F150 to make it easier to hook up our trailer to the hitch. Cost was reasonable and paid for it to be installed also, we looked around at some others and my husband liked the mirror version instead of another screen to view in the truck. The mirror looks just as good as the one that came with the truck and the camera's view is helpful. Installation took longer than expected and we had to tighten up the bolts on the license plate that holds the camera so no one would walk off with it. Other than that it works for our needs.

Actually 4+! This is an excellent addition for my truck, adding both front and back cameras as well as warning detection. It does call for better protection lest it be bumped and damaged or stolen while parking. A license plate holder will help with secure attachment. The quality is superb and bright ... sometimes too bright when being followed by bright lights. I can recommend this as a great value.

My truck is a 2003 and didn't have a backup camera. I love this camera. Makes it so easy for hooking up a trailer and I can see things behind my truck much better. My only regret is that I did not get it sooner.

Love being able to see what is behind me. Very clear at night. Makes hooking up a trailer much easier. Very good product.

The camera view is great. I wish I knew how to adjust the backup lines and change the image size. It is good for safety, and can also be used as a dash cam

Helpful but takes awhile to get used to and needs to be adjusted to driver's preferences.

Love this Echo Master rear view mirror. The backup camera kit provided everything needed to install the camera. Camera provides a great view for my pickup truck and trailer mounting.

The camera and the mirror work perfectly. The mirror is large enough to see what you are backing in to and yet it seems the same size as a normal mirror so it doesn't look awkward. The installation was also done perfectly by the Best Buy team!

I like this backup camera. I really wanted one and I thought it was really nice in the beginning. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the camera gets rain on it a lot so I have to wipe it off numerous times. The reason that it gets rain on it is because it sticks out a little and isn’t built in to the car. I think this would be a great starter backup camera for anyone. I’m hoping to install a new radio so I can have it appear where my radio will be instead of on the mirror!

It makes backing up much easier. The image appears on the rear view mirror, so i can see the front and back at the same time and feel much more confident. It lights up, great in the dark!

I needed to get a rear view camera for my Ford Escape in order to improve rear visibility, and after reading reviews of various products on the Best Buy website I bought this one. Excellent visibility during the daytime, decent visibility at night if you are in a well-lit place. I am satisfied with this product. The only suggestion I make to improve this product is to somehow install sound sensors when you close to the object you are backing in to. Still, as I sad, I am more than satsiied with this product.

Installation stalled because directions were thin on detail, some vehicles require additional parts not clearly discussed. Tech support kept me from returning the product - they know their stuff, but only M-F and this was my weekend project. All said and one, the camera works well, picture is good.

A little disappointed. My factory mirror had a compass in it. Now I get an error message on my dashboard, No Compass. Not much improvement over the factory rear view mirror. Had Best Buy install it. They did not have a tool to remove the factory rear view mirror. Had to go to an auto-glass shop to have the mirror removed and gave the guy $5 for his time. Best buy did not offer to reimburse me. They did do a good job on the installation otherwise.

great view to the rear with wide angle. Makes backing into narrow spaces easy.

I was originally skeptic about getting this since the screen is actually inside the rear-view mirror. I was worried that I would be distracted by seeing a shadow of it under the glass during normal rear-view use. I am very happy to report that this is not the case. You don't see the screen at all when the camera isn't on and the mirror is crystal clear. The camera isn't the best quality but it does the job perfectly fine. The only thing you need to remember is that it takes 2-3 seconds for the camera to turn on once in reverse. Other than that, it has really helped me with my 2007 Dodge Charger and the blind spots it has.

After a neck injury turning around to back the car out in a crowded parking lot was too much. The back up camera really helps! I still need to look side to side, but the rear camera is wonderful! It is another tool to help with backing up!
