I read reviews before purchased this. The main bad review was it doesn't come with instruction. The guy at BestBuy assured me it comes with instruction. When we got home, we found a paper (1page) with some instruction. It didn't explain enough, so we got detailed instruction from YouTube. Also we needed to make a trip to Advanxed Auto and get more pieces needed. Other than that, it's been 2 weeks since installed and no problem.

awesome camera does the job great price and clips over existing mirror

Purchased this product at Best Buy and had them install the camera and mirror on a 2017 Ford F150. Local Ford dealership wanted to charge twice what I paid at Best Buy. Camera works fine, the lighting is somewhat on the bright side but overall gives a good image. The camera extends out over the license plate a couple of inches, will need to be careful not to damage the camera. Overall very satisfied.

Excellent visibility when backing up my truck now. Clear picture in mirror.

Although I think this solution is a little on the expensive side, it works great. You have to be able to tap into your cars reverse signal for it to work fully as a backup camera though. I would suggest putting a little research into your vehicle prior to making your purchase. Some older vehicles, like a 2003 ford windstar uses a reverse power system. Meaning 12 volts is there constantly and relies on a completion to ground to make the circuit. Modern cars do not supply the voltage until whatever is activated so in the case of the windstar, a relay would be required to make it work. Knowing your vehicle is half the battle here.

My son who is paralyzed recently started driving again. He lost the ability to be able to back up and park the car into car spaces. I installed the mirror camera to be able to assist him in his car safety. He came home one day after going out and told me that he was able to back up, park the car and really liked it. He thought the mirror has better adjusting the moves. Thank you

This device is a nice after market product. I tried to put one in myself that promised to be simple; it wasn't. I called around town and found everyone to be very expensive. So I tried Best Buy, and found what I was looking for. The tech who put it in was knowledgeable, competent, and did a great, timely job. The camera works great and is better than if I had ordered with the car originally, as it is much easier and safer to see it in the rear view mirror than on a screen looking down.

So after much research I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this unit. I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger and I've got to say..It looks great. Camera operates flawlessly(takes about 2 sec to activate once you put it in reverse). The only downside is i think there is little too much glare in the rearview mirror sometimes, but its an excellent value nonetheless. I had it installed at Best Buy and it fits just as well as the factory rearview. A whole lot cheaper than if i had bought it at a custom shop or at the dealership.

This camera and mirror package was not a difficult install, the view is great and works flawlessly each time I use reverse.

This Back-Up Camera was very easy to install...the picture is perfect with great night vision.

The back-up camera is an excellent addition to my SUV. ONce I got to the Geek Squad installers everything went well. They did a great job. The store is another story. Store does not answer phone even after 6-7 minutes of ringing. My order got lost. I had to reschedule because on-line scheduling did not work. Nightmare!

Easy to install. Inexpensive. Easy to use. Wish the screen was a little larger, but really happy with it

One of the new safety features I wanted to have, without buying a new car, was a rear-view camera. This combination of camera and rear-view image in the mirror works very well. It would be a 5 except there is some problem with glare in the mirror on bright days and the rear view doesn't track the path based on steering wheel position as the new cars do.

Excellent image, even at night. FYI, does not have Auto Dim for headlights behind you at night. Had it installed at Best Buy. He wired it directly to reverse. Works great, but I will rewire to a continuous hot, so then I can use the on/off button. Excellent product, worth the buy.

This is a great product however when I was choosing which backup camera I was going to purchase as a Christmas gift for my grandmother and when I purchased it I was told it was compatible with her car and when I called a few days later to schedule the install I was told it was compatible with her Year make and model. When I get to Best Buy with my grandmother to have it installed I was informed it wasn't compatible and that the don't make an install kit either.
