I would like to share my experienced on this product, It works really beyond my expectation. So i bought a dashcam thinkware U1000 bundle camera comes with hardwiring in best buy & schedule to be install by geek squad. Unfortunately they can’t install to my Landrover discovery 5 2020, they said it’s a complicated wiring & it’s not on their data base how to hardwiring the dash cam on this particular car. I almost return everything back to best buy until i encountered this echomaster OBD from thinkware. It’s truly plug & play & worked as advertised, the good thing is it comes with male & female OBD connector, plugged the female connector, test the dash cam & boom! It’s working! & then the extra OBD male connector can be use to run car diagnostic. It can be self installed easily & the wiring i’m able to tucked it to the headliner, i’m very happy with this product!

I went on the advice of Mario your tenured tech that this would be a more clean and secure "plug and play" connection for my Thinkware U1000 dual channel install to Toyota 4Runner. Thus far the unit is working fine. However, I would (and will be) suggesting that Thinkware covers the nuances of how to use the unit properly and what settings to consider...in detail. Also need to address the anti glare filter on the lens and how it creates a "rainbow" effect on video with windows that are UV treated.

Best decision ever to purchase this harness. I was using the hardwire kit from Thinkware and even though it works good this kit is AMAZING. I bought a new car so I took my Thinkware f200 and installed it on my wife’s car with the hardware kit and then once my new f200d pro came in and I used this harness I asked myself where have you been all these years and why didn’t I know about this. Will definitely be replacing the hardwire kit in my wife’s car with this when I upgrade her cam. This kit is also a must for cars with auto start stop.

Easy installation, getting to this product wasn’t as easy though. Need to figure out a whole. Bunch of stuff around parking mode. Totally worth it though.

Bought for the Thinkware F200 with rear view camera. The included wiring kit required going into my fuse box. Some reviews said wiring the fuse box caused battery issues, so I purchased this instead. Just plugged it in and my dashcams were good to go. Cannot recommend enough if buying a Thinkware dashcam. As with all wiring, keep it secured so you don't kick it by accident.

The cable is specific for Thinkware dashcams. It's a good way to power your dash cam other than hardwiring.

I purchased this OBD kit so I can access the parking mode feature. I didn't realize how simple the installation was. Not only does the dash cam connect to it, but you'll also have the use of the OBD port for diagnostic purposes. It was a 15 - 30 minute install.

Seems to work great,, but the radar is not working, not sure if it's because of the OBD cable option

Best setup to have your camera running without the car being on, it comes with adapter for the obd and after I got it installed I had to do smog check and it worked flawlessly with adapter .
