Works well, easy to install and setup. Its great that it can recognize motion through its sensors and adjust settings appropriately. The app is also good. It pairs easily with Amazon Alexa for voice commands as well.

the ecobee is a good thermostat with expancion capabilities

Awesome thermostat, love the homekit integration with "Siri".

Took about hour to install instructions well written. Claims it saves money and how versitile it is I don't see why it wouldn't save more than expected,modern look gives wall a updated and professional look.

I love the idea of this product. I got it installed and so far I am pleased with it overall. The positives include the functionality and the mobile app. My only complaint thus far has been with HomeKit connectivity consistency. However, I am currently testing a theory provided by customer support which so far seems to have helped and/or eliminated that issue.

I absolutely love the device and all that it comes with. It works great with my tablets, phones, Amazon Echo and SmartThings hub. I had to call an AC guy and pay him to do the install, and I'm a pretty handy guy that never, ever, never-ever pays someone else to do things. I'd give it a 5.5, if it wasn't so pricey, in addition to paying someone to do it.

Customer Service when above and beyond to help me install this myself. System works great and the app is super easy to navigate. We have even saved money in out AC bills the last two months since the purchase.

We went from Nest in our old house to Ecobee in this house. For us, primary reason to switch was the remote sensors. We bought an old house with thermostats in dark, remote corners. Those corners would be cool while other side of the floor of the house would be 10 degrees warmer. Putting sensors in those rooms too normalized the temps across the house.

My ecobee3 makes my life so easy while I'm on vacation I could check the temperature and see if it's working. And with the sensor in my bedroom it cools the bedroom at night where it needs it love it.

This is a great product. I really appreciate the separate sensors. I've got one sensor on each floor of my multistory house including the thermostat which acts as the sensor for the main floor. My top floor and basement tend to be cooler than the rest of the house in the winter. With the "follow me" feature, the EcoBee will only heat those spaces to my target temperature if I'm using those areas. The app is easy to use, so you can control the system remotely, or without getting off the couch. The GeoFence features are accessible through the iPhone app, but not the iPad app.

Works great once installed. Easy to use, refined UI on the device intself and app on the iPhone. Be aware that unless your house had the wiring already installed for power to the thermostat, it will require a bit more skill and experience to install. Wish it had more integration with IFTTT and Apple Home, looking forward to future upgrades.

I started out researching smart thermostats and soon realized that they all have deficiencies and potentials for incompatibility. You'll have no problem finding horror stories on the internet about any of them. Two features really set the Ecobee apart though: multiple sensors (Nest's solution for occupancy detection is smart smoke alarms, I don't want that) and the power extension kit. My old thermostat did not have a common wire connected (and no extra wires), so the PEK worked exactly as advertised. Install isn't too hard, but the wiring inside the furnace can be a little tricky. If you don't know exactly what you're doing I would still recommend hiring a professional to do the install.

I chose this over the nest due to online reviews and have been very please with the performance. I had a programmable 7day thermostat that was hard to reprogram and I ended up overriding the programming. The Ecobee is easy to program and change locally and remotely, The included sensor is a little weak and frequently looses its connection.

Multi level home with cool BR above garage and did not want to upgrade to variable speed, stages furnace. Along with sensors 2 BR above garage have kept temperatures within 2 degrees of rest of home.

I read the reviews for buying and most of them said it was difficult to install. I found it very easy to install with all the helpful videos that are provided. Also liked The Apple Watch feature.

This thermostat is meh. It served its purpose but gave us problems. The remote sensor sounds great but constantly have a message of non connection. User interface is less friendly than Nest and Honeywell smart stats. It’s my least favorite of all the smart stats after having owned all three

Easy to set up. You can access on your smart phone app and your browser. Also you can review the usage and run times. Great product. Rebates available from DTE and Consumer's Energy in Michigan
