This was my first connected home purchase and I have really loved it. The system was incredibly easy to install and the step by step setup was also very easy. In no time I had it linked to Homekit and was able to create a schedule. While you can use the app for this I felt the online portal was easier to adjust schedules. I haven't had any problems to date (2 months of use) and being able to adjust the AC on the fly while away from the house is such an awesome feature.

Bought this thermostat and I stalled myself. It's very nice and easy to use. You can YouTube the install if you're not sure what to do next. Great purchase.

Really easy setup. Install was relatively simple. So many different options for programming. App works great from anywhere. Sensors are a great addition.

It does the job, it works. I like the weather on the display and is easy to operate, user friendly. The app on the phone is a little more difficult, I was unable to scroll to the bottom to finalize some settings so I had to do them on the display, I hope they fix that.

This has worked well for a house that is divided into 3 units but only has one thermostat. Now all 3 units can access most functions of the thermostat.

I will totally buy another one soon because it help keep the temperature in the house regulated and also to help my electricity bill stay consistent.

Very convenient to have remote and voice control to set the temperature. Now I don't need to worry about shutting it off in the house

Shopped for thermostats over 2 months until I finally made the decision to purchase this thermostat. It's the best choice I've made for a thermostat.

Great product so far. Easy to install and use. Apple HomeKit function was the reason I chose the Ecobee3 over the others and I am so glad I did.

This ECOBEE was very easy to install with my unit, I love all the things that you can do with it. Love that I can use my iPhone to control it.

The ecobee3 smart thermostat is great. Easy to install and set up. It took me about 20 minutes to get it up and running. Works great with Siri.

Overall is nice but I think the Nest is better. It does not learn from your in and out pattern. It is nice that you can control it via the app even if you are away from home. If you change the temperature it does not go back to the program until you set it back.

My upstairs hallway is in a open space where the temperature gets higher than in the rooms. The satellite sensors help regulate my room temperature.

Awesome products. Beats out both the Lyric and the Nest thermostats easily. Works with both Android and Apple products. Provides common sense logic to the thermostats by adding sensors around your house so that the temperature can be what you desire where you are. Also utilizes the fan option alot more by turning on the fan instead of the entire HVAC to use outside air temperature when it's cooler or hotter than your desired temperature.

After reading up on the Nest vs. Ecobee, I decided on the Ecobee for one specific reason and it does not disappoint! I love the capability with the extra sensors. My bedroom is far from my thermostat and typically at least 10 degrees colder in the winter. The sensor know when I'm in the room and adjusts the temp accordingly to help balance it out. It doesn't make the rest of the house too hot either. It figures out a happy middle ground. Also it's learning out habits and knows when we are away and subsequently adjusts to the away setting.

This item it's worth the money. It keeps my house at a normal temperature. I also received credit from my electrical company. Great investment

Installed it in March , then got a cold spell. Worked well as I usually had to switch the emergency heat on manually on old system but ecobee system does for you. I have it set for when we go to bed and a half hour before we wake up to hit a certain temp.

Like this a lot over Nest. Love the two sensors and getting the temperature balanced. Also like the integration with Alexa and Homekit. Get quick alerts when it senses motion in room. This is one of the first buy for me with home automation. Love it.

I finally got tired of switching from heat to a/c on the overpriced, underwhelming Honeywell stat installed by my HVAC company. The wifi features are nice to have, but the real win has been the remote sensor. We have a single level home and the 2nd sensor has noticeably balanced the temp and improved comfort throughout the house. I also like the system reports. I would have given this 5 stars, but the instructions were somewhat unclear. I had to go through a number of technical articles in Google searches to figure out I needed to install the power extender. The info on the vendor's help pages was too ambiguous. To their credit, it has to be an enormous task to anticipate the wide variety of systems in use.
