Easy to use and simple installation. Works great and you can control from app.

I had it installed for about a month. No issues so far and it works great. Setup was easy if you refer to the manual. If you are installing it by yourself, make sure to turn off the power or turn off the circuit breaker switch for thermostat. Added the additional sensor that came with it. Planning to buy couple more sensors for other rooms. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and I recommend to others who are looking to buy a smart thermostat.

After a lot of research I chose this smart thermostat over Nest and other competitors. Unfortunately, I have a Trane "communicating" HVAC setup which the Ecobee is not compatible with. There appears to be a work around, but it would require reprogramming of the furnace/air handler and would be detrimental to the efficiency of the system - to the point that the Ecobee could not make up for the lost efficiency. I still recommend this to anyone who does not have the same type of system that I do. (Note: It took multiple calls with the Tech Support folks to finally determine that the Ecobee was not compatible. I recommend you research the Ecobee forums where I discovered that result much quicker.)

This is the thermostat to have. Supper convenient with the ability to control temperature from anywhere

This is my first wifi thermostat. I can control it with my iPhone, my iPad or my laptop from any where. You can login to your account and change the setting or just look to see the temp in the house. I really like the remote sensor. The thermostat is in the hottest spot in the house which makes the rest of the house to cold. Using the remote sensor in a central location keeps the hot at a more even temp.

Installation took about 20 minutes, and because I already had all the necessary wiring in place, my landlord didn't even complain about it. It works very well, and even alerted me that my air conditioner wasn't working properly, which made it much easier to convince my landlord to get it fixed. My only gripe is that the temperature setting doesn't get more specific than a 5-degree range. That probably helps with energy efficiency, but there are some days when the top of the range feels too warm and the bottom of the range feels too cold, and I have to keep fiddling with it in order to keep it in a more comfortable range. But 95+% of the time, the 5-degree range is just fine.

Easy to install and setup. Took less then 20 minutes. Looking forward to the savings of the system.

We saw the Ecobee at a friend's house and loved it so much that we bought one the minute it went on sale. We compared reviews on this and other models, Honeywell and Nest, and found that this one had more desirable features for our needs. Our 8 year old loves the weather on it and now looks at it each day when getting ready for school. The temperature reading is visible from quite a distance which is a huge unexpected plus.

So far so good I'm able to control everything from my phone in the interface is really nice. Looks very sleek on the wall.... I will give a better review after the summer when I have used it longer.

I enjoy that this works well, but I did have to hire an hvac expert to help out. HomeKit for Apple was the biggest draw over nest. Biggest issue is that sensors go offline daily gor a few minutes.
