Great but not as elegant As Nest

Great Thermostat so bought a second.

I bought one for our main home and another for our second home. It's nice to go on vacation with both home HVAC systems conserving energy and be able to turn on the air conditioning remotely to be comfortable as soon as we walk into a home. If we forget to set it right before we leave, it's nice to adjust it while we are gone.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this thermostat is so practical with its sensors that track your activity in different areas of the house. it adjusts deviations to your schedule, i.e. if you leave earlier or come home earlier. the best part about the EcoBee3 is its ability to run aux HVAC equipment like our HRV (heat reclaiming ventilator). if you have an HRV or humidifier, you need to get this smart thermostat!

Great smart thermostat

Installation was very straightforward with the extra wiring kit they include. The display area is also larger and contains more information at any one time. I have two of these units installed in my condo in Mexico, and the website app is extremely convenient to monitor what is happening, and changing setting remotly.

Install was quick and easy if you follow the instructions. I did install AC units in a previous life so I need to say that you likely will need some help on the furnace/air handler section if you are not somewhat handy. Would absolutely buy again
