Control it all from your phone! AMAzing display as well. Very easy to use

I've had this product for a while now and thought I would give it a long term review. My Ecobee works exceptionally well; I love its simplicity but also the ability to make fine adjustments if you prefer to get down into the weeds. My only issue with this product is that every few days their server gets too many hits and I am unable to control it remotely for a few minutes (please try again later message). The problem goes away after a few minutes but it is annoying.

I recently purchased and installed this product in my home and I love it. I really love the fact that it averages the temperatures of the sensors and then displays the temp but the best part, it only cares about the room that is occupied. Its great for homes less than 2500 sq ft however, the additional sensors are a bit pricey. I wish they were $50 for 2 versus $80 for 2.

Very easy to use especially with Apple"s HomeKit. Set it once and forget it!

I have two ecobee 3s now and they work gr at. One unit in my home was a plug and play; however our main furnace is over 30 years old and took a little more effort. The setup app tutorial is great, with the older furnace they have a great setup support line that walks you through every step. Works great, looks sleek and pays for itself in no time

Love this thermostat! So much I bought another for my upstairs unit.

Excellent thermostat, works well with Apple Homekit. Install is fairly easy, although if you have a furnace that does not have a dedicated power line, as most old thermostats are battery powered and don't need one, you will have to mess around with some wiring INSIDE your furnace so just a heads up. Otherwise has great features, easy to use, iPhone app is awesome.

Installation and setup was easy. Gives great control over HVAC system.

Really nice easy to use and Alexa is useful at times especially when you wanna check the weather, only down fall is sometimes she goes off for no reason

Great little unit, the main advantages over Nest and others are the included separate sensor (and cheap to buy more) and HomeKit compatibility. I find it really annoying using units that don't have multiple sensors because in a big house you can't really gauge temperature from one point in the house, no matter how well placed. It would have 5 stars if it had more than 2 heating stages, I really want to replace the smart controller on my main unit which is variable stage but not HomeKit and no external sensors but I'm nervous about going from around 10 stages of heating to 2.

It connected very easy. I use SMART Things and that is why I purchased Ecobee. I really love the portable motion sensors to keep the temp at a temp that I like.

My EcoBee is apple HomeKit enabled and that is the reason why I got it. It's great to be able to tel Siri to turn on/off or set the air at a certain temperature.

After dealing with all the horror of the nest we decided to switch from the nest to the ecobee and its honesty the best thing we've done! The lil bee sensor provides you with an extra sense of relief that your home will be equally cool. the main thermostat is very reliable and thus far have has zero issues! Truly like it so much more than the nest!

I'm not sure about how much money I'm saving because this was installed after only 2 weeks of being in new house, but we pay less in a 1500 square foot townhome vs a 975 sq ft villa with a standard thermostat that we moved from. I love the remote control from anywere, the ability to schedule as you desire and the automated smart control while you're away.

After reading some reviews, purchased the ecobee3 when it was on sale and so far not disappointed... the only issue I had were some fault sensors (ecobee sent instructions on how to fix them, VERY simple). The web portal has a ton of info on efficiency. It also works pretty well with HomeKit if you are on iOS. Already recommended it to a friend and he loves it!

Easy install for new thermostat and easy setup. Highly recommend.

Love the small footprint, sleek design and user interface. The best thing about it is the individual sensors. I like the idea if room sensors and Ecobee has given me greater insight into how hot the different parts of the house get and what action to take like replacing faulty blinds etc. I'm not sure how Nest would do that given its trying to learn from me.
