I love my ecobee. Takes a little time to get to know the ins & outs of all the settings, but I have all my schedules locked down now. Customer support was very prompt and helpful when I wanted to update the firmware. The remote sensors help keep my upstairs more comfortable, especially at bedtime. This is a great product.

I read tons of reviews comparing the ecobee vs nest and chose the ecobee due to price, compatibility and easy setup. Not to mention it's a bit smarter than the nest knowing the exterior ambient temp it decides if kicking on the compressor is even necessary which in turn saves you money. Buy it you won't regret it.

I opted for this over a Nest in large part due to the other reviews and the direct Alexa integration. Setup is pretty simple, just follow the instructions. You may have to do a little research to find the exact correct settings for your HVAC. It took me a little trial and error to get the AUX emergency heat setting set properly. Otherwise it is nice to be able to schedule temperature changes and have it automatically adjust. Provides more control, which I like vs the Nest just "learning" your preferences.

Easy to install product. Love the separate monitors for each room. Looking to upgrade again to the Ecobee 4 when it comes out.

I'm extremely happy with this purchased. I bought this instead of the Nest strictly because this has the sensor option. It's a great feature to know how warm or cold each room is. i had the system linked to HomeKit but found the ecobee app to be much nicer. You have full control of the system through their app.

Love the new thermostat and all its functionality!

This is my second Ecobee3. I have two separate AC systems in my vacation condo, and have the Ecobee3 units on both systems. The Web monitoring/control is great. I also like the second remote sensor for each unit. It enables me to ensure that each room is maintained at the temperature the thermostat is set to.

This thermostat is great! The best feature is that it monitors temperature in multiple areas instead of just at the main unit, which for us in a room that's rarely used. Being able to control the temperature with Amazon's Alexa is pretty cool too. Scheduling and remote programming are easy. Love it!

Having a rebate from utility company and a friend who recently purchased pushed me over the edge to buy. I had a programmable thermostat but schedules weren't that predictable so manually adjusting the thermostat on a regular basis. Now I can change from wherever I am when I know schedules are shifting. Nice!!

This thermostat works better for my home than the Nest with the remote sensor since it is located in the coolest part of the house and the other rooms are usually still too warm. They also work better at detecting for the home/away feature so I love that. I am ordering two more sensors to cover the whole house.

It's a little tricky on installing depending on your type of heating system you have. But works well and very convenient.

Replaced my 5+2 programmable thermostat for a year now. My 2 story house is small but have my kid's room get very hot during summer. A remote sensor in the room keeps tap on the temp there when my kid is sleeping. Cheaper than other alternatives that require a full smart thermostat per room.

Excellent product, exactly what we were looking for. Easy installation with the help of ecobee customer service. We emailed them a picture of our existing wiring then called them and they were able to walk us through. Waiting for it to go on sale again and we will buy another one for our second home .

I used to have a Nest but decided to go with the Ecobee as it has native HomeKit integration. Everything installed easily and was up and running in about a half hour since the box was opened. Controls and app are intuitive once you understand where everything is located. The only part I would say is a drawback is learning HomeKit, it seems somewhat confusing until you understand what it can and can't do. Overall happy with the purchase and excited to see our HVAC usage in the coming months.

This has worked well for us. Works great with our Apple products...Homekit and Siri. We have used the vacation mode and came home to a comfortable house. The home IQ feature is nice also to get graphs of how your system is operating and how the temperature outside is impacting the HVAC.

I bought this after comparing it to the Nest. This is a really great product. I installed it in my office which is 30 miles away. I can check and change the tempature from home. Will probably get one for the house soon. I did have a HVAC specialist installation since I needed the jumper cable.

We did tons of research on smart thermostats. It came down to 2 choices for us, Ecobee 3 or Nest. We decided on the Ecobee because it links to SmartThings hub and Google home easily. We also like the LilBee room sensors. The $75 dollar APS ( power company ) credit was pretty cool too.

Ecobee surpasses Nest in providing all the standard smart features but add features that Nest does not have. Ecobee includes individual room sensors to help you regulate all the rooms in the way you live in them versus one station in Nest. Ecobee is also Apple Home Kit compatible.

I am so glad I got this Ecobee instead of the Nest. The touch screen is responsive, and the app on my phone works great. I have never experienced an issue with this thermostat as well as the app itself. Easy to set up and use. Every functions comes with straightforward direction.

I have been a Nest user for years but decided to make the switch with new home due to Ecobee3 reviews and the addition sensors. So far I'm very happy with the performance and features and would gladly recommend. I also like that it integrates with my SmartThings and Alexa very well.
