Very nice and easy installation, and the smartphone remote features are great.

I had the original Ecobee 1 in my first house, and I missed having it when I moved. I upgraded to the Ecobee 3 in my new house and it is even better. Love that it works with both Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Better than Nest!

Love it - helps with a bad cold spot we had in the house. Easy to install, and love that they include the kit for those that don't have a C wire in place. Just wish they had a package that included 2 sensors instead of just one.

Great instruction manual made install a breeze. Multiple temperature sensors make my house feel much more comfortable. Energy savings were immediately noticeable over old thermostat and it qualified for a rebate from our utility company.

After reading some forums on steam systems, it seemed that the ecobee3 with its remote sensors was the way to go. Absolutely perfect. Just what we need to moderate temp throughout the house. Even integrates with Samsung smartthings.

I have multiple Nests in another home, but they don't work with Apple HomeKit. I put Ecobee in a condo and it's integration is seamless. I can't say it's any better or worse than Nest, but the integration with Apple is a plus.

Our ecobee has really cut back on the use of the heat upstairs. We run a varied schedule because I work from home when I am in town, so having the sensors automatically put the system in unoccupied mode is a great feature for us.

Purchased the ecobee because of Apple Homekit integration. I had issues with the Nest and it was returned, i've had zero issues with the ecobee. Love it use my amazon echo to control temps also use geofencing via IFTTT. Would recommend

I am very happy with this smart thermostat. I am already seeing a difference in electricity bill. I wish I had bought it sooner! I love that there is sensors for different rooms. It really does help regulate the temperature better.

I really like this thermostat. It does everything a regular thermostat does, but it can also be controlled by a smart phone. This is handy for me because my thermostat is in the upstairs hall. The greatest weakness is in the HomeKit capabilities; it doesn't work when you're away from home without an Apple TV, which is ridiculous. Oh well, maybe they will fix that limitation in the future.

After reading reviews about Nest and Ecobee3 I got more inclined to ecobee3 because of temperature accuracy, compatibility for humidifier and support with other smart apps . Also the sensors really help the room to maintain right temperature and saves lot of energy compared to NEST. I felt like Nest is more like ecobee3 lite. We really happy with purchase and would recommend it.

Product works as advertised. I also own a gen 3 Nest thermostat. I'm still on the fence as to which one is better. I am leaning towards the nest a bit. One downside to the ecobee is the requirement of a common wire on your air handler.

I love this thermostat because of the sensors that can extend and know the presence. Its really nice to have those extra sensors for detecting if you are home and also to show the temperature in the house for different areas.

I read several reviews online and decided to give this baby a shot. I was surprised by how easy the DIY installation was, how smart the product software is. It is a little expensive but in the long run the ROI is certain

My only complaint is that the thermostat connects directly to the remote sensor and not thru wifi, limiting the remote sensor's range. But the fact that it comes with a remote sensor is pretty great. I would definitely check this out if you are considering a Nest. It also works great with IFTTT. It is easy to set up with Smartthings, though I haven't played around with it yet.

Amazing thermostat. The ability to add the additional sensors really ensures that the home is at the perfect temperature wherever we are. I cannot recommend this highly enough and would rate higher than 5 stars if possible.

Bought this for myself for Father's Day. Read lots of reviews and chose ecobee3 because of the remote sensors and the price. Love it and the ability to control and monitor from app anywhere. Only issue in first month is after 2 1/2 weeks it started disconnecting from wifi and I couldn't use the app to keep an eye on it. It seems to have fixed itself in last few days though.....

I got this thermostat because my current one is in the hallway and it covers three bedrooms not sure what the contractor was thinking when they built our house. The ecobee with three remote sensors takes care of this problem.

I have not used this item as I am waiting for install. Looks nice though!
