This thermostat works really well, and is easy to program. It replaced a honeywell 7-day unit that was very hard to use. We debated between this and the Nest thermostat. I picked this because it uses sensors to detect people in rooms and doesn't depend on you manually changing the temperature. Also it has a security feature to keep the kids from changing the temp.

I have two Ecobee thermostats in my home and one of them works very well. The second one however seems to have difficulty in remaining accurate; fortunately Ecobee Customer Service is top notch and was able to resolve the problem. My only other issue is that the plastic construction is not as nice as the Nest thermostat, but the trade off for HomeKit compatibility is worth it!

I purchased three of these thermostats for my house and they are incredible. I love being able to monitor my house when I am not home which allows me to know in the cold New England winters that my house is not freezing.

I had an issue with a missing wire. The wire was missing from my house and not the product. I called the support line and they walked me through setup, configure and everything worked great.

We had some issues with each time the AC turned off it would kick back on a few seconds later. Each time the heat came on it would come on for a few seconds then turn off for a couple seconds before coming on to stay. We contacted their support and everything was quickly taken care of. Now it works great, I like that I can adjust the temp from my phone weather I'm home or not.

Works great and was an easy install with our new system. The app was a quick download and now we can easily control our AC while away from the home. Setting up vacation preferences, different time/temp combos, etc. is a snap.

This thing is super cool. Its Siri and Apple Home integrated and works great! I had trouble setting it up with the cabling and called Ecobee support. The support was quick and did a fantastic job getting me going.

I had bought the Nest 3 and returned it. This system is better because of the sensors. My office is only occupied during the day and then I switch that sensor off. Keeps the rooms that need to be controlled just right.

I bought this hoping it would lower my electric bill during the hot summer months. It has done that compared to last year. So I am very happy with it. Setup was pretty easy and I am the worlds worst handy man.

Saved me a lot of money on our utilities. Have it linked to my I pad and I could see when the havoc was on. The occupancy sensors are a great plus. I am able to set the thermostat to read from a room that is occupied.

I have used nest for over 3 years and this thermostat has everything the nest is missing. If you like adjusting every aspect of the thermostat this is the one for you. If you want to just plug and play, stay with the nest.

I've been very happy with it so far. It's been about six weeks since I installed it myself. I'm impressed with the remote sensor as well as the ability to see stats & control it / make adjustments from my smartphone.

I have heard so many mixed reviews about the Nest, so I went with the Ecobee and I was not disappointed. It's HomeKit and IFTTT integration is great! The extra sensor and "follow me" feature has be really useful too.

Not my first wifi-enabled thermostat, but certainly my favorite. Love the ability to monitor temperature in a separate room to ensure that you are heating/cooling to where you live and not where the thermostat hangs.

The temp is more even through the house, it actually saves money

The smart thermostat is awesome as I transition to having a Smart Home. I have the sensor in our master bedroom, so my wife is happy that what we set our thermostat at will be dictated by our bedroom temp.

Works great. Love the remote sensor. And the wifi is great.

Waiting to see if my gas bill will be lowered. It will be handy when on vacation to lower the bill too

I bought this for my energy-conscious husband for Christmas. It took him about an hour to install, and he loves it! He can control the HVAC from his smart phone, and the sensors are a wonderful addition.
