    Great looking product but if you don't have a c-wire or your furnace doesn't match diagrams excatly, install is a nightmare

    Unlike Nest, it requires the 5th wire for your thermostat. If you don't have the 5th wire, it does provide an attachment that you have to attach to the HVAC system itself, which should be fine for most people but not for me since I don't have access to the roof for our condo unit. I tried to contact ecobee but never heard back either. I ended up returning the item and grabbing a Nest instead. Not a ecobee problem but definitely research before you buy!

    Upper level in my house was always cold than lower level, with the ecobee's sensor installed in upper level now i am able warm to keep upper level warm.
