    They market this product as being for homes that have more than one room. But I have the remote sensor upstairs in another room and it is so sporadic with the connection. I get tons of emails saying the sensor has been disconnected and then later more emails saying it's been reconnected, and I get them throughout the day.

    I really want to love this thermostat - really! But when you go online and setup the profile of how you want it to respond and at what time of the day, it never changes when it supposed to. I'm to the point where I'm going to open a ticket with Ecobee - I really want it to work. But so far... no joy

    It has been two months using it and its a very good product. Functionality wise its superb. I looked around other high end thermostat but the reviews for Ecoobee3 stood out. FYI when installing watch some youtube before you install. In my case I was missing one wire in my wiring so I had to connect an extra box that comes with Ecoobee3 to my HVAC system. Also when you do that make sure to cut the power supplies to you HVAC. I blew a fuse in the process. Bottom line its flawless!!!!
