2 Months so far with no complaints. The temperature has been fairly uniform through out the house and I am considering add some additional sensors. The system is fairly user friendly and intuitive. I would like to see a usage analysis option on the app instead of having to log in online to look at that data. Other than that I am extremely happy with the system.

I've been using this thermostat for a year and its has been reliable and easy to use. The best part is the remote sensors and the ability to set the thermostat to heat/cool for a specific sensor in a room or a group of sensors. It is also compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Smartthings so it integrates easily into whatever system you are using.

If you are looking for a smart thermostat look no further. The Ecobee is so advanced technologically it blows the competition out of the park. I have placed the Ecobee sensors in my living room family room and bedroom to control and schedule the temperatures in those rooms. It is a great money saver. Money well spent on the Ecobee.

I bought my ecobee3 in March 2016, taking advantage of the $100 rebate. I love a ton of things about the ecobee3 that the NEST can't compete with. The remote sensor, so I can put it downstairs in the family room and get a balanced comfort between floors. The iPhone App that I only had to set up once and it auto connects when I launch it, giving me quick access to everything as if I was standing in front of the unit on the wall (and I was two states away from home!). The weather summary on the main panel that I can observe as I walk by. There are just too many features that I love to list them all. My son has a NEST in his home and I have listened to him talk about it, and I am so happy that I purchased the ecobee3 instead. Don't regret your thermostat purchase, get the ecobee, either the 3 or the lite and you will be happy you did! - - - I just can't say enough, it is sooo good! - - - -

I researched smart thermostats for awhile prior to settling on the ecobee3. I wish I had purchased one sooner. It is very easy to install and setup is a breeze. They have a cool app for your phone to help you with installation but of course you can always just use the included directions too. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great thermostat and company to buy from. They take care and make sure you are getting the best product that they can.

The thermostat works really well with homekit for iPhone. It was a little tough to set up at first but its been great after that.

This Thermostat is amazing. While complex in nature it is surprisingly simple to install and program. I easily save $50/month in my electric bill vs. the traditional thermostat I did own which also had 7-days schedule capabilities. I have a Amazon Echo connected to it and enjoy adjusting the temperature on the fly. Great product!

Easy to install, great to look at, amazing to use!

Love my Ecobee3! I bought it last month and installed everything in a matter of minutes! Perfectly hangs with bubble level built into frame. Remote sensors connected easily and are a must have for any 2-story home!! I used the included power extender kit with my install. Follow the instructions and you're good to go!

The ecobee3 was incredibly easy to install. The app walks you through it step by step and after you're done it gets to work immediately. It's programmable and works with Alexa well. Definitely worth switching from a standard thermostat and better than nest because it takes into account the other rooms in your home.

Love it. Installation was a breeze even though my existing wiring was 4 wire so I also had to install the included PEK in my furnace. Thought that would be a challenge for a non HVAC guy but is was real easy after seeing it done on YouTube. Operation is easy and the extra sensor really makes a difference for us.

My house has 2 thermostats and I was holding out for a good sale before I bought the Nest thermostats. While periodically checking for deals, I would read about the ecobee3 and it's remote sensors. These sounded like a great feature since my thermostat locations are in rooms that don't typically get much foot traffic when we're home. Additionally, we experienced inconsistent temperatures particularly on the second floor where one bedroom would be really cold while the others would be warmer. After reading about others' having these issues resolved with the remote sensors, I decided to give them a try. Installation was a breeze since I already had the correct wiring. Upon installation, I was prompted to setup which was fairly simple. Before purchasing the units, I thought I would mess with them quite a bit and I was happy that they had integration with HomeKit, Wink, and Amazon Echo. In reality, once I tweaked the settings after about a week or so, I really haven't touched them. Occasionally, I'll change the setting using the Echo, but they really are "set and forget".

This is a great smart thermostat with a full featured app that lets you control your ac unit remotely. Saves money.

Installation and set-up was a breeze, less than 20 minutes from out of the box to up and running. Intuitive options and functions, as well as a great phone app. Love being able to use additional room sensors to heat and cool the AVERAGE home temperature, instead of relying on one reading at the main unit.

I purchased this mostly due to the sensor and ability to work with Alexa, installation initially seemed to be quick and easy, but no such luck, all I had was heat. After an hour of resetting and rewiring, a simple google search identified and fixed it (wire needed to be jumped) in 2 seconds, and off I went. It does what it says, our original thermostat sat in our dining room where as we sat across the house in the living room, the sun would heat the dining room and run the AC we would compensate by turning it up but found ourselves constantly adjusting all summer long, the Ecobee Sensor sits where we do and the AC keeps the temp in the living room (much cooler part of the house) stable, not sure if it's saving me much money, but it saves me plenty of adjusting time. Don't use it as much with Alexa as I thought, but the smartphone app works well, you can adjust from anywhere, including settings. I'm buying one for the upstairs unit soon, I could adjust the temp of my room without leaving my bed, no more warm nights.

Very convenient. Android app mimics stat in every way. Seven days scheduling very nice. Like that I can set unlimited programmed settings and schedule as many as I want. Very easy to override current setting from stat or app. Shows indoor humidity and outdoor temperature. Also controls my humidifier.

If you are interested in a smart home thermostat that lives up to its name, pick up an Ecobee 3. I purchased 2 of these units - one for my regular home and another for our vacation home at the beach. The installation instructions are simple to follow, and the smartphone app puts all the power of the Ecobee in the palm of your hand from anywhere. When traveling to the beach, I can turn up the AC while en route so that I open the door to a comfortable home. By being able to adjust the settings for each home remotely based on actual weather conditions, I saved hundreds of dollars in the first year of use by not overheating or over cooling a home that was not then occupied. And yes, with Homekit enabled, I can command: "Siri, set Beachhouse to 74 degrees" and then it's done. How cool is that?

This is by far the best tstat on the market as of today! I love mine and it helps me save lots of money!

I was familiar already with wiring thermostats since i used to have a Venstar T5800. I moved to a 2 story house with two ac units so i bought the ecobee3 because is compatible with samsung smarthings. Installation was really easy and the setup as well. Very happy with the product.
