I love this thermostat. The room sensors work great and this is what sold me on this unit. I also love that you can control the thermostat from your phone.

Have had this product for a little over a month and am really glad I purchased it. I like how you can have sensors in different locations to help average your temp in your home throughout the whole home based on where you place the extra sensors. We have a two story place and the challenge we were running into before was trying to keep the temp the same upstairs when the thermostat is down stairs. This is no longer a problem with this thermostat. There is still a lot I am learning with other things you can tweak and adjust to help save money on heating your home etc.

The amount of configuration and the remote sensors insured there are no cold spots on my house. This is significantly more versatile than competing thermostats

Easy to install. Easy to understand. Can monitor via my phone. A wealth of features that I've only scratched the surface on. Lots here to appreciate!

This thermostat is great. I highly recommend getting the Ecobee3 instead of the Ecobee3 lite as this version comes with one remote sensor. The remote sensor works in conjunction with the thermostat to average the temperature between two rooms in order to give you an even environment in the house. There are numerous settings available on the thermostat itself as well as through the web portal. Setting a schedule is a snap and we can already feel a difference throughout our home. I will be getting an additional two sensors in the very near future as well.

This product is the 2nd generation of smart thermostats from EcoBee. Out of the box, I set up the remote sensor on the 2nd floor and configured the thermostat to read this sensor during night time since the bedrooms are there. The sensor is helping me adjust my dampers and vents to get proper cooling upstairs. If you are a hobbiest, then you'll be glad to hear that ecobee3 interfaces with SmartThings from Samsung, IF This, Then That (IFTTT), and other smart hubs to get even more out of the ecobee. Can't think of a single fault with this product, very happy with it.

After owning two different generations of the Nest thermostat, I did a little bit more research on this product and decided to pull the trigger on it. After installing, with ease, I was quick to discover that this is hands-down the best thermostat on the market. I would especially recommend this thermostat for anybody that has a multi story home in which you need to be able to sense the temperature in other areas of the house to get better efficiency and savings. Additionally, they have a much higher rebate with SoCal Edison than nest does.

Amazing thermostat that is incredibly easy to use. You can adjust and monitor from but at home or away with any of your smart devices.

I've installed 2 of these in my home with 4 extra remote sensors. I love the control I now have and would highly recommend this. I have Follow Me enabled on the main floor and disabled for the 2nd floor with the bedrooms. My thermostat is in the same room as my fireplace, my old thermostat would turn the heat off when the room got too warm, because of this the rest of the floor stayed cold. With remote sensors, I'm able to ignore the thermostat sensor and have it heat the floor using the remote sensors. Big win!!!!!

Our upstairs thermostat was not cooling and heating the rooms properly because the thermostat is located in the hallway. This was especially a problem for our baby nursery because that door needed to be closed when baby was sleeping. We placed the remote sensor in her nursery and it has been a lifesaver! We never have to worry about the temperature in her room anymore. We also love that you can control the thermostat on our smartphones.

I'm extremely happy with the Product and support. On installation I had an issue, and on a Sunday afternoon ecobee support answered the phone almost immediately. The product is working better than I thought it would and I am using the web functions for programming. Also, the comparisons on your homes efficiency to other homes in your area is interesting and will help provide all kinds of useful data on trending as the years go by.

This is the best smart thermostat. It is always connected and very responsive. No delays and no freezez

I got the ecobee3 mainly because of the extra sensor. We have a 3000+ sq ft home that is all one story and only one main tstat to control the temp. We have the main unit in the living room and then the extra sensor is in our bedroom. It works out great because it keeps both zones cool or hot depending where we go and we don't have to worry about it. Its a great system to have and I look forward to getting more use out of it.

I've had my ecobee 3 for almost a month and I am loving it. Using it is so simple and with the app I'm able to track what the average temp is and make adjustments to be as economical as possible

The Ecobee has made my life so much easier. I had a bedroom that was always a little hotter than every other room. As soon as we bought the Ecobee and installed the sensors the system started regulating the heat to focus on the rooms that we were in at the time. Hands down one of the best products that I have purchased for the home. I have had the unit for 2 months so far (already noticed 15% savings in the gas bill).

I recently reviewed the ecobee and am convinced it's the thermostat to beat. With its vast customizations, ability to work with almost any home automation system, and super useful remote sensors, the other thermostats don't compare. Also, the software is very stable and hasn't ever left their customers in the cold to my knowledge. That's a big deal.
