ecobee thermostat was very easy to install and use

Has Nest beat hands down. My only complaint is that my heat pump has an external thermometer that should be used for real time temperature vs the temperature it fetches from the web. Also, the front panel should be customizable (e.g. allow the time to be seen). Besides that, this thing is great. Had it for over 2 years now. The dashboard could be improved (better trending, etc). It is near perfect but not there yet. Rather than writing a lengthy review, search for better professional reviews! :)

Really great product for monitoring room temps. We have a bedroom on the lower level of our home. We worried during Michigan winters as to how cold the room is getting at night. Now I can monitor the room, tell the furnace to kick in when it goes low, and alarm me when it goes low. Awesome addition to the home!

Must buy for the smart home. Works with Homekit and Alexa. The remote sensors make your house much more comfortable. The thermostat gives much more info about your home than other products on the market. I Highly recommend this thermostat for anyone who want better control.

The best wifi ac / heater controller. Don't waste your money on a nest then with you would've bought the Ecobee. The Ecobee has sensors that will monitor and maintain temperate where you want it. Addition sensors may be purchased too. Easy to use great app.

What a huge difference with this thermostat! We had a programmable thermostat but it would let things get too cold/hot before adjusting. The remote sensor has made a HUGE difference in comfort levels. Great product and it ties into our Amazon Dot :)

After reading many reviews of various Wifi Thermostats on the market, I chose the Ecobee3 and was not disappointed. Easy to install, works perfectly, and the remote sensor is the best part for me, because my thermostat is located in an unused room.

I did a ton of research before purchasing this ecobee3. I love the integrations with homekit and Amazon echo, as well as all of the settings ecobee allows you to change. Other smart thermostats lock these settings. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Heat wouldn't cut on. Ecobee customer service helped me bypass the thermostat to verify it was a hardware problem. Turns out that the installers left my furnace off when my house was built.

The ecobee is easy to use, easy to install and and packed with features. Room sensors monitor occupancy and temperature, keeping you comfortable wherever you are in the house. IFTTT and HomeKit integration are perfect for home automation.

Was given a nest thermostat as an early birthday gift, but based on a suggestion from my neighbor who owned the nest for a few years, purchased the ecobee3. Our houses are large and drafty, so the additional sensors help to maintain an even balance.

This is an excellent thermostat. The ability to have multiple sensors really sets this apart from all other current thermostats. I am really excited about being able to look at the Home IQ information but i haven't had this for a month yet.

I have integrated my Ecobee with IFTTT (If This Then That)and their Android App. The settings included are more than enough to make this a great product...but having the ability to add sensors to more than one room is the game changer!

I didn't pay attention to the negatives because there were so few and far between. I bought my first ecobee3for my upstairs zone, it worked fine for 1 month. As many reviewers, I did enjoy the interface and liked that my bedroom temperature were being measured by the remote sensor. Then I bought the second ecobee3 for my downstairs zone and had problems almost immediately with sensors being glichy. Not long after, my upstairs remote sensor started acting up, missing in action 2 or 3 times a week. When I called ecobee support, I was told that maybe my sensors or the control panel were too close to the garage, where garage door opener's cignal was interfereing with ecobee communications.I have a fairly new colonial house with attached garage, no bedroom above the garage but sensor is placed in the adjacent room. So unless I choose to manually open my garage door from now on, I will have to live with ecobee's sensor problem. Wait, it still doesn't explain why on a snow day,that no one opened the garage door, the sensors still went offline. Guess it was my neighbor 's garage door opener?

The ecobee 3 is such a helpful device to have at my home. It allows me to keep a good eye on my HVAC unit while not at home and it help my save money. It has been such a great way to save money! You must get one!

Very easy to install and use. I love being able to control the temp from my phone. I also love the away mode. It will detect when I am not home and adjust my thermostat accordingly. I would defintely recommend buying one!

This is probably the best one out there mainly because it has room sensors and you can upgrade to 32 of them if you have a huge house. I like it because I can use it off my iPhone and I can use my Apple HomeKit.

The main reason that I bought the ecobee is the room sensors and the feature that turns the heat down when no activity in the house. I'm looking forward to seeing the savings we'll have on our electric bill.

Hands down the best smart thermostat out there. Works with Siri. The occupancy sensor is a big plus and the ability to integrate remote sensors makes this product a top notch one in the market.
