All wifi thurmostats need a c wire or some other power supply to work properly any one with rechargable battery thurmostat is going to have issues ecobee is the best out there right now hands down

the Ecobee3 is the best choice if you want Apple HomeKit integration and a remote sensor to track any room-to-room temperature disparities.

Easy to install, phone app guides you through wiring, setup and registration. Flexible schedule every day is my favorite feature. Remote temperature sensors create a greater uniform home.

The ecobee3 is amazing. Very simple install using the app that includes videos, tips, and tricks. App allows for amazing control and the use of sensors is awesome. Highly recommend!

installing and setting up was easy with my app and with Amazon Echo. the Sensors are the best to put the comfort were you need it like the bedrooms on our second floor home

Coming from a Nest I will never go back, extra sensors make more sense for my older house. Also the online reporting makes it easier to track changes in our daily usage.

If you already own an iPhone then the ecobee 3 thermostat is great for voice control with Siri. The second room sensor is a real plus over other smart thermostats.

The sensors are what really sets this apart from the others. Don't try the rest and get the best. The only thermostat for homes with more than one room.

Much better than the nest. Love the Siri and Alexa support. Nothing like telling the thermostat to cut on without opening an ap.

I have to tell you this is a time and money saver... I researched the lot and The Ecobee is the clear winner!

While the ecobee3 itself is amazing, and truly a revolutionary device, the support for this device is appalling, truly the worst service I've ever encountered bar none. My ecobee worked flawlessly for 6+ months and then all the sudden it started going all crazy, heating when it was supposed to be cooling etc. So I call in to their "support" which is really just people paid, probably fairly well, to brush you off, and offer inane "solutions" that never work and frankly make no sense. So the temperature drops on the ecobee when it's heating, and it is supposed to be air brushing by the ecobee COOLING it. OK!

I used to have a Nest, I much prefer the Ecobee's screen and room sensors. Highly recommended!

Compared the Ecobee with all other smart meters out. This one had the most features. Great buy!
