Once installed, took a bit for that with an older home and wiring system, it was good to go. The machine quickly took over and is now working great.

Unit has been flawless and has performed Superbly!

Having a Heating/Air Conditioning system that was more than 40 year was a known issue and took a little extra effort, but got everything working on two systems Upstair/Downstairs in about 2 hours. Once setup it has worked like a charm offering a host of services and functions that I did not know I could use.

I'm really liking the Ecobee thermostat. Having the extra sensor upstairs allows us to keep the whole house comfortable. The Android app isn't the best, though. On my tablet, the UI doesn't fit on the screen, so you have to scroll around to get to what you want. Hopefully they'll spend some more time on the Android app soon.

Had a nest but would always act up. Final straw was when hvac tech came out and replaced it with an old fashion thermometer . Did some research and found this product easier to install and use and hvac techs understand it.

I would have given this unit 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that it depends on ecobees network. This means that if ecobees network is down the app cannot control your air via WiFi. You can still control your air though the unit itself though. Other than that this unit is great. With the included mobile sensor the unit can detect temperature in a second room and maintain an average temperature between the 2 rooms. The app is very easy to set up and use.

It's cut down quite a bit on how often my system is running and is great for averaging the temp in my house.

Replaced a Nest with the Ecobee3. Wanted the remote sensors since the upstairs was always too hot or cold compared to the main level where the thermostat was. Now the upstairs is much better. Love that they are always trying to improve as well. Nest seems to have stalled out.

I had a Nest and i replaced it with the Ecobee3 and right away I noticed a difference in confort through out the house. I have now bought another one for my upstairs unit and the interface with 2 thermostats is AWESOME. I would highly recommend this product.

So far so good easy to install and set up. I was looking for something like this as my bedroom always gets warm but we're the thermostat is located stays cool. This fixed that I just need to buy a couple more receivers. Thanks Ecobee and Best Buy.

The thermostat has been good. There are some changes that I would like to see but over all it is good. I like that it has the satellite sensor that can be used to feed data to the thermostat. It can even be used as the main temperature that the thermostat uses to regulate the house. The company is constantly updating the product so they seem to be making improvements all the time.

Although I am a NEST fan.. this one is simply better for me. The remote sensors make the thermostat more effective in maintaining temperature in the individual bedrooms. HOWEVER, The Apple HomeKit version was released just as I bought this original version...since I utilize iOS devices I returned for the new HomeKit enabled version. I bought 3! I am now an Ecobee3 fan!

I had to purchase 2, as I have a thermostat upstairs and downstairs. I chose this over the Nest due to the extra sensors. So far so good, even if it is a little rough around the edges, there are quality updates.

They seem to work just as advertised. Would recommend

easy to install no "c" wire required and easy to run from a phone, tablet or computer. wifi thermostat is ifeal for a second home so that i can heatvit or cool it way before you arrive.

Love the smart capabilities of this thermostat. With controls from my smartphone, I have been able to reduce my power bill with substantial savings. And, it was easy to self-install.

Saved a lot on my electric bill and easy to use. I love the fact that everything is right at ur fingure tips right on ur smart phone adjust temp while home or away

Ecobee is awesome!!! Installing it is a breeze and enjoying it is the best thing ever. You only need to tell it your comfort setting and that's it! Enjoy it!!!
