Love the Ecobee thermostat! Had a Nest before and much prefer the functionality of the Ecobee, especially the multi-room sensor as our room temperatures vary widely on the same zone. Very easy to set up, just make sure you have a third wire on your HVAC system

Very good device to use, replacing my old thermostat system with this one and it’s worth it.

EASY to install and set up. PLUS it's connected to my Ohm account so I actually EARN extra $$$ when I'm saving energy (hundreds of $ this year). The commands to trigger it with Alexa are annoying but I'm more of an iPhone user anyways so this doesn't bother me.

when away the sensor turns the temp down or up according to heating or cooling the home. temperature couldn't be any easier to control. with the lillibee sensor that's movable to any room that senses when your in the room keeps you comfortable in that room .

Installation can be non-trivial but the App guides you through it fairly well in my opinion. For the Alexa functionality to be truly useful one needs the Alexa App or so I understand as I have not downloaded it. Without it you cant control the thermostat itself. To me that's silly as it should be part of the Ecobee App. But the system works quite well.

Love this thermostat! Don’t worry about complicated programs - just go on my phone and set it when I want to! Love the room sensor at night...no longer is my hallway 65 and the bedroom warmer...with this sensor in the bedroom, the bedroom is 65!! Simple and easy!!

Hardware came with good instructions. App was easy to configure and schedule to my liking.

This thing works great got it because my thermostat is not in best place in main floor. The sensors are the biggest plus for our needs. Being able to set schedules and operate via away from home is great. We purchased a second one for upper floor

Got this as a gift for myself for getting my new home. I live the built in Alexa feature.

This thermostat replaced my Nest thermostat and I could not be happier. The installation was easy and the functionality that it brings is great. The always on screen is very welcome, as is the weather forecast and Alexa capabilities. The thermostat and accompanying app have worked flawlessly, therefore this thermostat is a keeper.

So far this has worked as expected. Install was more confusing than I expected, had to have buddy put it in, but so far so good.

I am now able to easily control how warm or cool my house is. Setup was quick and easy!

Wanted to upgrade to a smart thermostat as we are slowing adding smart home features. The Ecobee4 had Alexa built in which was perfect as we use Alexa throughout the house. Nice being able to set and change a schedule easily and adjust the temp by voice or with my phone.

Let me just start out saying. I returned this item 3 weeks after I purchased it. Only because the new model was released.. this model is very nice and functionally sound. The new one is just a lot better for only the $50.00 price difference

The app allows you to have extremely easy setup and most energy company's give rebates.

Bought this because of Alexa and because it works with a lot more third party devices.

My fav smart home purchase ever. Senses activity in each room. Adjusts to the motion.

The smart functions of this thermostat are great for controlling home, away and sleep schedules! Also the alexa functions for telling her about your thermostat controls and hue light fixtures also work perfectly. Wish she could hear you just as well as my echo dots do. That's the only reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

We love using this. We have ended up keeping Alexa off because we have too many Alexa devices and it was making it difficult to have the right Alexa pick up what we were looking for. But in our next house, she will be unmuted. Highly recommend getting a handful of the sensors and really thinking about where they are (keep them away from windows or active electronics like a TV; makes the sensor think it is hotter than the house actually is). Take the time especially in the first month to keep tweaking the settings. The main complaint. The commands are not straightforward for Alexa and are spotty at best. We have given up asking Alexa to change the temperature to 72 or however many degrees because she will WILDLY get it wrong. And we have tried all the voice training and everything. At 10% success---it was frustrating, so we just dont use the voice commands anymore. Money savings---I suppose? Its hard to measure with all the different things going on.
