I had all nests before upgrading to this and I love it. the interface might not be as nice looking as nest but everything else is hands down better. being able to have remote sensors in rooms is the number one feature for me that makes it stand out. love the ecobee

This thermostat is truly smart. It was fairly simple to get installed and has made an immediate difference for the better. It is simple to use and intuitive. Can be used in a simple manner or has more advanced features if you decide to dig into those.

Suprisingly easy to operate from the thermostat, tablet and other mobile devices. The remote sensor works great and I will get 2 more. I wanted some understanding of how the thermo integrated the info from sensors; I quickly received very clear answers.

With this device you can control your AC/Heat with a touch of a button, changing the temperature by telling Alexia or google home, or logging into their App. Coming with a Echo mini helps regulate the temp between the upstairs and downstairs.

Awesome thermostat!! I control either by Alexa, my IPhone and IPad or by the thermostat. I lower the AC when I’m leaving work via my phone so it's nice an cool when I get home. PLUS I got an $85 rebate from my Gas & Electric provider for buying it!!

Thermostat works good. Not to sure about sensors. Don't activate heater in cold areas.

Overall, I am happy with my ecobee 4. The only thing is the built in alexa ends up being more of a bragging feature more than anything. I find myself using the phone app to adjust the temp as it tends to be more of a hassle trying to tell alexa to do this. Things that I don't like about the device: If you disable alexa, the light bar on the top of the thermostat will light up bright red and continue to stay that was until you turn alexa back on. It like a red plague in the home at night, since I have 2 of these thermostats. Hope this eventually changes. The other problem that drives me crazy is that both of my thermostats in my home are located in rooms that are used for entertainment (livingroom, gameroom/den). Unlike echo devices where you can change alexa's name, with the ecobee you can't. So be mindful that any radio or tv ad that gives an alexa command, your ecobee will respond. An example was a recent tv commercial telling alexa to set an alarm. Sure enough my ecobee starts talking via alexa telling me an alarm has been set. So while the feature is cool, its also rather annoying.

With inbuilt Alexa, its an amazing product. I pretty much automated everything.

Had this installed and working in about 20 minutes. And. I was able to do it myself! Very easy to use and having Alexa is nice for use. Best Buy also helped me get $75 from my utility company!

We upgraded our ac and thermostat to the Ecobee. It works great very easy to use. It gives to warnings if something is wrong it also gives you the weather we love our Ecobee.

We’ve got eco bee just installed, it was not planned as our older thermostat suddenly stopped working. I guess it’s time to upgrade to hi tech one... Now, We’ve enjoyed so much after connect Alexa with eco bee, Can’t be happier...

This item looks cool, but it required a common wire to work. The adapter kit that came with it didn’t seem to work.

I had a local repair man come over and tell my old thermostat died. I asked him if he had a smart thermostat. He wanted to sell me a new version of my old one, but I wanted something better. So I went over to BestBuy. I bought the ecobee not know if I could do it myself. I work in the IT field, but that doesn’t mean I would be able to install this. It was a snap, too easy! Four wires, the directions walked me through it. Done in 20 min. Now I have Alexa in my kitchen and in the bedroom. It plays music, I can asked it all kinds of questions. Most of the time I need to know the weather, or how much carbs is in something. Love this little device.

I didn't think that I needed this but now I wonder how we got along with out it. Went out of town for a week and turned it way low. Got into the airport and used my iPhone to turn it up and it was nice and toasty when we got home.

I really like this Thermostat. The Thermostat looks nice. The App works well. Though I wish there was a mechanical way to adjust things. (like Nest). My only complaint is the mounting hardward is subpar. The Thermostat sits oddly on the wall causing it to not seat fully, causing some issue. Overall a good device.

Easy to set up, only taking a few minutes. The packaging design is very cool and well thought out. My electric and gas providers are currently offering rebates on a smart thermostat too, so it was an easy decision to get an Ecobee

I have had the Nest thermostat for years. Bought a new home and needed to upgrade the thermostats and came across ecobee. The integrated Alexa is terrific and gives connections points for your smart home in an "unlikely" place.
